How could my human do this???

My human gets to have all the fun. I'm stuck inside all the time, and she goes out BIRDING. What's crazy is that she doesn't try to catch birds, she just looks at them through these weird black things with lenses in them and tries to identify them by what they look and sound like. WHO CARES? Just let's attack them and eat them already.

To add insult to injury, after she went birding, she went to an event called Bark in the Park. Does she not get that we're CATS??? Well, OK, it was for a good cause. She raised $140 for the Humane Society of Greater Akron and got a T-shirt and a bandana. The bandana is supposed to be for PETS, but she's wearing it around her neck! Well, I suppose I can live with that, since I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a bandana, and I don't think the Stripy Girls would like wearing it, either. But it might be fun to attack.

I barely remember the time I spent at the HSGA. When I was a baby, a nice lady found me, but she couldn't keep me, so she took me there. The day my human came to find two cats to be adopted by, I knew I wanted to go home with her, so I meowed and meowed, and it WORKED! So I guess I'm glad she did something nice for the HSGA, even if it was an event geared for DOGS.

Our human came home with dog slobber on her jeans--yechhhhh! How uncouth! She walked a mile at the park to "earn" her pledge donations, and she said she'd never seen so many pampered pooches gathered together before. She said she definitely felt in the minority, being a cat person (she did wear a cat T-shirt and her "Meow" earring), but at least Orbit, the Akron Aeros mascot, was there, so she wasn't the only cat person.

Well, it's time for a snooze before dinner.
