Hissing and the Vet

I've been a little better about hissing today. I haven't hissed anymore at Maurice. Of course, he has been hanging out in youngest girl's room and I have been elsewhere. I hissed some at the dogs this morning, but I haven't this afternoon.

This afternoon me and Maurice both had to go to the vet. I had to get some shots and blood drawn. But I got some great news - I lost a little weight so now I can get even more Fancy Feast. This is so great! I think I should go to the vet all the time if this is the kind of news they hand out - MOL!

My Home Has Been Invaded!

There is another cat in my house!!! I do not like this. I was asleep in my cat bed and I got woken up and carried into the oldest girl's room. There was a little black and white boy kitty in there. I gave it the stare down, saying "hey, what's going on? what are you doing in my house?" and that cat had the nerve to puff up and hiss at me!! So I hissed right back. That's pretty much how it's been going tonight, I hiss, he hisses. It is the youngest girl's cat, so right now he's in there with her. His name is Maurice. I've been staring in at him when the door was open. Once I ran in the room, hissed, and then ran off. A run-by hissing!! MOL!!! I hope he isn't interested in stealing my Fancy Feast.

Don't Blame Me!

There's only circumstantial evidence that I was the one who left claw snags on the top of the back of the chair. Just because I am the only one who is able to hop up there and you've seen me up there ALL the time doesn't mean I was the one who left those snags.

Seriously!

Ok, maybe I did. But I like hopping up on the chairs and up high gives me the best vantage points to watch those goofy dogs. I think I am going to have to be relegated to just sitting on the ottoman. But that's ok I guess, I do like the ottoman. At least there's no real permanent damage to the chairs!

Meows

What kind of a meower are you? Are you a quiet kitty who lets out a few "mews" or are you abig loudmouth like me who loves a loud MEOW. My meows are funny, the humans know I am saying "NOW!" when I am meowing for food! So why don't they always feed me then? I don't understand what is up with them since they say they understand what I am saying. I wonder though.

I can also be very quiet. I especially like to be quiet when people are looking for me. I'm definitely a silent kitty then!

Diary of the Day

Wow! I am diary of the day! Thanks so much Catster!

I think those silly dogs need to do more silly things so I can keep getting all these honors - it shouldn't be hard for them - MOL! I've already gotten pets, Fancy Feast, and kitty treats, I can't wait to see what else this day holds!

Front Row Seat at WWF!

Last night I had a front row seat to WWF - Wicked Westie Fighting! The dogs got into it again, this time they were fighting over a little blue bird toy. I kind of liked that toy since it made all these different bird toys, but the birdie toy is no more. After they ripped apart the toy, they started biting each other. The humans jumped up to pull them apart, Finley was swinging from Whitley. It was all kind of funny, I was lying in the ex-dog, now-cat bed watching it all happen. Oldest girl jumped up to grab Finley off. Finley eventually fell or was pulled off. I'm not sure. There wasn't any bloodshed, that was a little disappointing. Oldest girl was lying on the ground afterwards, apparently grabbing at swinging westies made her back hurt. The dogs were separated, and that ended my entertainment. Oh well, there's always today for more chances for those dogs to act insane! I think I'll just stay in my cat bed.

P.S. My page is now all ready for the Fourth of July. I even allowed oldest girl to put a bandana on me without hissing or scratching or anything. I am such a TOLERANT cat. MOL - at least I got some kitty treats for putting up with it!

Keeping my oldest girl company

So my oldest girl has a hurt back. I'm not sure how she hurt her back, I think I was asleep when it happened. Anyways, today I've been real sweet in keeping her company. She's just kinda laying around and not doing a whole lot, so I laid next to her for a while. She says I'm a real sweet cat. MOL - I think I've got this one fooled! I got lots of pets for being so sweet and that was really nice.

My New Page and Hiding

So everycat, oldest girl got done decorating up my page. We had to make some changes to some things because of some of the changes to Catster. I'm really happy that the Community button is no longer stuck being orange. Orange can look good if you have an orange page, but it could look pretty funky with some other colors. There's information over on Pawsome Pages about it in case any cat is interested.

This morning I was hiding. See, oldest girl likes to take pictures of me everyday. That's because I'm so drop-dead gorgeous of course - MOL! Anyways, this morning she couldn't find me. I wasn't in any of my normal spots. So she and the momma of the family were looking for me - they finally found me asleep in a corner under a desk. They said they were kinda worried about me since they hadn't heard me meowing for Fancy Feast yet. MOL MOL!!

Maybe I'll go meow for some now!
