MY LAST VET VISIT

Oh you won't believe this, I had to go to the vet again, this time for my yearly check up and I got to see my Dr. Kathy. I do have to say that I did not want to be there again.

Well I have good news I am doing well, my numbers for CRF are good they didn't change...GREAT, WONDERFUL!!!!!! and I am maintaining my weight too.

She checked my heart too and told Mom no change so she doesn't think I need to see the heart specialist, she doesn't want to put me through any tests that don't need to be done. So if Mom sees any signs that I am having trouble she is to take me back and then I will have to see the specialist. Sure hope I continue to do good and not have to go to any vet or specialist.

Mom has to take me back to vet the end of April for my blood test, this is the big one, asked Mom what does that mean, she says they will check me for everything and it will cost more money.

So I got off easy this time, thank goodness...but we didn't go straight home, no we didn't, I had to go into a strange house with doggies. Mom goes right by their house on the way home from my vet so she took me with her to walk the doggies, that way afterwards we got to stay home the rest of the day.

Guess what I did when we got home? I went into Moms closet to hide! that is right in the closet I went, I had enough.

Now on to our great weather, we are having warm days right now and I got to go outside lounge in the sun and do my daily bathing and basking in the sun, felt so good. I was outside for several hours and I was so happy~

I must tell you one last thing, I love having Mom home more and getting more time with her, but yesterday Mom was cleaning & doing laundry so I slept in her closet again and I have been in there again today. This way I get to have a great catnap without you know who bothering me...well I gotta go back to the closet and finish my catnap talk to you all later!

Thank you my friends, we are happy too. Mommy worries about me when I want to always hide from Tu Two and Kody, she doesn't know how to stop them from bothering me. Sometimes she will have me in the front part of the house so I can have time to look out the window, be near my kitty box and water. She always wants to make sure I go potty and drink water which is important for me to do.

Mom made a soft bed in her closet for me so I love to go in there to get away from everyone, today I am getting time outside in the beautiful warm sun.

We are glad my vet visit went well too....now we just hope it will be good news next time I have my big blood work done.

glad you are doing well! I like to nap in the closet too - mom has a shelf that I lay on, except I scared her more than once when she went to grab a sweater! hey they are soft to nap on! Some advice - give em a good smackey paw on the head...works for me.....

Moms shelves are full and she puts the few sweaters in containers. Mom tells me all the time I need to do smacky paws, but I don't, sometimes I try to bite them but I am just not mean.

We are so glad to hear your vet visit went well. And no vampires got you, whew! Closets are definitely fun to explore, and a bonus when you find a nice place to sleep. Hope you do venture out more though, Mom doesn't like it when we hide.

So so glad to here Ur doin' good 'n stable sweet Xena~! We still purrin' fur U 'n nice to hear U gotta warm spot to nappy in~ I know how ya feel 'bout dem kits botherin' ya! Mallee does it me most o' da time 'n seems like her always wants to bite me. Happy to hear ur findin' great sun spots to bask in~

Oh that is wonderful news - we are so happy fur yew! I am 17 and had the full blood test panel late last year, and my White Coat and Meowmy were kind of expecting there to be some problems of some sort because of my age, but the test came back PURRfect, so we are furry grateful about that. I don't like going to the doctor either, but I know it's imPURRtant fur our health. PURRlease stay well and closets can be lots of fun - my brofur calls ours his office - they are furry nice to relax and meditate in.
