Nicknames:
Kiki-wiki, Keekster, Keekster-weekster

Likes:
Eating, sleeping, pooping. What else is there, really?

Pet-Peeves:
Kiki's major annoyance these days is her chihuahua step-brother Pee-Wee nipping at her knees and sniffing/licking her butt everytime she jumps on the bed when he's aboard.

Favorite Toy:
Toys are for kittens. Kiki's in her 70s in terms of human years.

Favorite Nap Spot:
The couch, but ask me again in a month.

Favorite Food:
9 Lives Super Supper canned cat food. It's the ONLY canned cat food she will eat. I have no idea why. She's a creature of habit...or they put drugs in it! She SCOFFS at Fancy Feast. (She also loves milk, of course.)

Skills:
Kiki can talk. Seriously. Sometimes I hear her voice in my head, telling me to do...things... JUST KIDDING, but she really can talk. If I say "MEOW" she'll say "MEOW" right back at me. Indefinitely!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Fall of 1990, my parents' neighbors found two kittens on their driveway but couldn't bring them inside because they were allergic. My parents did a heroic thing by immediately adopting the two kitties, and then, less heroically, dumped them both on me! Something along the lines of, "You like cats, right?" But I was lucky. They were great cats!

Bio:
Kiki's brother Patrick passed away in April 04 after an eight-month battle with pancreatic cancer. We miss him very much. (His memorial page is here.) Kiki survived heart failure and was hospitalized for two nights in November 04, but miraculously came home and is stabalized on medication, trying to gain back some of the weight. We hope she's got a few more good years of life to enjoy; she seems perfectly content these days, purring a lot with a strong appetite. We feel blessed for every day she's with us, and give a big thanks to the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan for saving her life! Besides Kiki's chihuahua step-brother Pee-Wee, she also shares her space with two huge Red Ear Slider turtles, King Kong and Princess. I had to include a photo of them, because they were feeling left out! (And there's no Turtlester.com yet!! Hint hint, people!)
