Today is a special day. It is the anniversary of my brofur Aragorn's Bridge Crossing. He was only 4 and I only knew him for a year, but what a year! Aragorn was my idol. He was everything I want to be in a cat. Though I must admit it was a very rocky start. But he was the first to make contact with me even if it wasn't so kind. He used to steal my food. You see, I was very scared when I first came here and hid under the bed for several weeks. Meowmy would lie on the floor and talk to me (hehehe) but Aragorn, he would come under the bed and steal my food. And when I moved under the table downstairs he would still steal my food! Meowmy was worried I wasn't eating, but as you can see, I managed to get enough.
The first time I came out from under the table and into the kitchen, it was to be with Aragorn and from that day I followed him everywhere. We would be lying together and meowmy would call him and I would watch him go to meowmy to get petted. Soon, I would follow him and guess what? She would pet me too! It felt good. Aragorn liked to sleep on the cat tree and I would follow him there. He was the first one in meowmy's face when she woke up, and I would follow and be second.
Aragorn was the most adventurous cat I had ever met. He would do just about anything, which sometimes scared meowmy. I'm not that advertous but when I try something new, meowmy is always happy and proud of me and she tells me so.
Aragorn taught me that I can be myself and meowmy would still love me. He taught me I can trust meowmy, though I will always be more cautious than he ever was. He taught me that love comes in many forms and that people aren't always mean to kitties.
I used to watch him walk across the room. I think he was practicing to be an angel because he just seemed to float with that confident prance that made it seem as if he wasn't touching the ground. The way he would jump to the highest place, the rafter in the ceiling, and look down on us all with what can only be described as a knowing smile. Meowmy still wonders why he was taken so soon but I know. He was here so that I would find my furever home. Because, you see, I was adopted for him, so that he would have a playmate his age to play and romp with, and because I also needed to know that love is freely given, and there are people out there who want to love me, just the way I am, with no exceptions and no expectations.
I loved my brofur Aragorn and I always will. He was a very special kitty who touched many lives in his short one. He left some mighty big pawprints that I know I will never be able to fill, but that is alright. I'm putting my little ones all over meowmy's heart and everytime she sees me, I remind her of him, and how much more there still is to give. And because of Aragorn, I am the lucky recipient of meowmy's heart, one piece at a time.

I have been honored as the Cat of the Month for Tabbies with Tudes! Can you believe it? Little ole me!
According to meowmy, I have the least amount of tude of any of us! I am very accommodating to all my brofurs and sisfurs, I wait patiently for food, though I must admit, I am the first to remind meowmy if she gets busy, hehehe
This month it will be 2 years at my furever home and my 4 year birthday. I must admit, it was a rough start, but things just keep getting better and better. I have my older brofur, Chandler Ray to snuggle with. He is the best. Then I have my younger brofur, Toby, who will also be 1 this month, to run, play and wrestle with. It is the best of all worlds! What more could a tabby want?
I don't want to forget, my furriend, Hazel Lucy, sent me a very special leprechaun hat in celebration! Thank you Hazel Lucy!

Today, I walked over to Meowmy on the couch and jumped up on the back, next to her. This made meowmy verrrrry happy! I usually just go over to get attention when I's reminding her it's time to eat. Today I did it just because I luv's my meowmy.
It is a very good day today as we have sun, which we haven't had for a few days. It's so nice to stay downstairs and bask in the sun. This is California for goodness sake.
Meowmy said she might go do some Christmas shopping today. Hope she comes home wif stuff for us! Meowmy says it's going to be a sad Christmas as she doesn't have a job, but we all likes havin her around all the time.

Me n Toby has been having lots of fun today. All morning we were running around, chasing each other, up on the counters, on the ledge looking down on the living room. We is just having fun, fun, fun.
Sometimes Toby goes upstairs and I don't know where he is so I wander around crying for him. Then I finds him and we play some more. When he goes downstairs without me, I cry upstairs for him.
We is finally tired. Toby is napping on the couch and I just woked up and is looking out the window. Meowmy is watching Oprah 'cause Brad Pitt is on (she crushes on him, silly meowmy). I am counting down the time until I can tell meowmy it's time to eat, about when it gets dark.

I gots tagged by my furiend Cleopatra Grace. I has to list 7 fact's about me ... then tag 7 pal's and we all have to write about it in a diary entry.
1. I'm a very handsome tabby.
2. I has my bestest buddy, Chandler Ray, to keeps me warm.
3. I had 2 other homes before my meowmy said I could stay here furever.
4. My meowmy sometimes sneaks a kiss and I sort of like it.
5. I tell meowmy when it’s time to eat; I is the bestest time teller.
6. Meowmy said Toby could stay if I liked him so I told her I did.
7. I likes to lick meowmy when she first wakes up to say good morning.
Now I gets to tag 7 furiend's and I hope they want to play but if not that's OK.

Lately I've been sleeping on the chest at the end of the bed, upstairs away from everyone. Now that Cally is downstairs on the table all the time, I can also get in the window when I want.
When meowmy came upstairs to put on the warmer clothes, she talked to me and scritched my chin. I luvs chin scritches. Then she ... kissed me on the head!
I think I'm liking that cuz I didn't run away. But don't tell her that cuz then she'll start doing it all the time. It could very well be that I'm beginning to trust meowmy more, but we'll have to wait and see.

It's hard to remember now, but some time when I was small, a lady found me and took me home. She was very nice and there were lots and lots of other cats so I wasn't lonely. I really liked the "big" boys since I was so small. They made me feel safe.
Then one day, my Mommy Debbie, took me to see Mommy Deanna. It was very scary. Aragorn was hissing at me a lot and I was very scared. I climbed up on the very high cat tree so I would feel safe. The mommies were talking for a long time and Mommy Debbie told Mommy Deanna that I was one of her favorites and 2 other Mommies didn't want me, then Mommy Debbie left, without me! I was even more scared. Mommy Deanna would make Aragorn stop when he attacked me and Lilly-Rose and Chandler Ray kept their distance.
I finally found my way on top of the refrigerator, where Mommy took my first picture, and she put food and water up there for me, but I was still too scared to eat. Somewhere in the night I found the bedroom upstairs and crawled under the bed. It took Mommy a while to figure out where I was and she kept putting food and water near where I was. She also would lie down on the floor and talk to me. I think Mommy was a bit frustrated with me, she kept telling me her knees hurt having to crawl under the bed all the time. At night, when everyone was asleep, I would venture out and explore my new home, but I would make sure to be under the bed before Mommy got up.
After a couple of weeks I decided it was very lonely under the bed so I decided to go downstairs and found that it was quite nice under the dining table. Mommy seemed excited about this and she kept putting my food and water under the table, and she tried really hard to keep Chandler Ray and Aragorn from eating it. She also gave me treats that were very tasty. She would stay and talk to me and try to pet me, but I wasn't having any of it.
It was more interesting downstairs. I watched Chandler Ray and Lilly-Rose climb on Mommy's lap and Aragorn would follow her around. Aragorn wasns't attacking me any more. In fact, they were all ignoring me now.
Another couple of weeks went by and then I felt it was time to come out from hiding. When I walked into the kitchen with everyone else, Mommy got so excited! I think she cried. From then on, things got a lot better. Aragorn became my best friend and we played a lot. We would chase each other around and wrestle. Mommy would play with us with a feather. I started to follow Aragorn over to Mommy so she would pet my head. I liked that a lot. It was lonely when everyone would go upstairs at night and I would make by chirping noise so that someone would come play with me, but no one did, they were all curled up with Mommy on the bed.
One morning I jumped up on the bed and walked over to Mommy and started licking her arm while she was petting me. It felt very nice and I purred for her. Now I do it all the time. When I walked up to Mommy and put my paw on her leg, she will reach down and pet me. I like it very much.
Mommy said I needed a new name for my new life. She kept coming up with all kind of funny sounding names. Finally she asked me if I liked Tweety and I did. She said it was good for me because I chirped like a bird. Mommy can be very funny.
After I had been with Mommy, Chandler Ray, Lilly-Rose and Aragorn for about a year, Aragorn suddenly got very, very ill and never came home. It was very sad. Mommy was very, very sad and cried a lot. But when I walked over to her and gave her my paw, she would still reach down and scratch my head. We were all sad, except maybe Lilly-Rose.
Chandler Ray was very comforting. He let me snuggle with him, but he doesn't play much. And Lilly-Rose would sometimes attack me when I was looking out the big window. Mommy told me she still loved me and not to worry, I would always have a home.
Then one day, not too long ago, Mommy went outside and came back with a young kitten. I heard Mommy tell someone that she wasn't planning on him staying here unless I liked him. I do, Mommy, I do! Toby and I play a lot. It is really fun to have someone to chase around and wrestle with again. I am very, very happy now. Sometimes to let Mommy know how happy I am, I climb up next to her on the couch.
