ohhh Santa is almost here...

This year momma has grinched out... It started when the other family members decided on no gifts. She hates it!!! She likes getting and giving gifts. Even just small ones. But no that's not good enough for them.

So we have no tree.... there are decorations. But I love it when we have a tree. Sleeping under it and chewing on the branches is so fun. And don't forget drinking the tree water!!!!! A most excellent time.

But at least I won't be sitting in a cage for five days or so at the vets. This year she and grandma will be home. Mommy even gave me one of my presents today. I have my own paw shaped stocking.... its on the fireplace. I haven't checked to see if there are any more in there. I smell something good.

Well, I will try to post again. I have been a bad kitty. Cat napping too much....

Fall... hmm not so sure how I feel about that!

Human: Oh, bull beast... you are outside all of the time!

Leo: Yeah, and I like chasing the leaves. But I am feeling a damp chill coming. It's in my tail- tail.

Human: Yeah, me too. My joints are hurting. So what have you been doing baby?

Leo: Sleeping, bathing, eating rubber bands.

Human: Fun is. I have to puppy sit this weekend.

Leo: Looser!

Human: Kitty you have been ignoring me major!

Leo: You've noticed...

Human: Brat!

Leo: Well, I have been tired. Mostly. But definately not in the mood to snuggle. First it was too hot in the summer. Then it got damp and now my back hurts. So I don't like being picked up now. But pats and brushing is fine.

Human: Yeah, I can't believe how much fur still comes out.

Leo: Well, I am fluffy. The brush feels good on my dry skin. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Human: You know, Halloween is coming.

Leo: Yeah... I was a little scared last year.

Human: I know... but you can hide in my bed this year again.

Leo: Oh thanks...

Human: But...
Leo: What?

Human: I may be going down to Heathers to help her hand out candy. We are going to dress up and scare the crap out of the little kids.

Leo: See that's just not nice on so many levels. First level- you are once again abandoning me. Second level- scaring little kids is not nice because they get scared and then they screech which hurts our ears.

Human: Oh and we are going to dress up the little dog- Amelia.

Leo: oh... she's gonna bite you. That's just not right... pet abuse!!!

Human: Weo... get real...

Leo: Actually, mommy .. feel free to go down there. Cause you're not staying here and dressing me up!


Human: Hee heee.

Leo: Hee hee... ( thinks a moment) So what are you gonna dress her up as.

Human: Don't know. I think Heather is going to see what ocean state job lot has...

Leo: I want video and pics. Totally you-tubing that one!

Human: Bad Baby....

Leo: Meowy...you know it!!! HAH!

Sort of. But it has been nice enough for me to lay on the deck all day every day.

But lately I have been up in the wee hours of the morning. Playing and shouting at mommy. Hee hee.

She doesn't mind. She has been away feeding the other pets. She lives at their house. I get very jealous and sad. But she is back now. Hopefully to stay. She doesn't mind getting up at 3 for me. She pats me and gives me my morsels...

I am so lucky and have a great life!!!

Summer

Well, it's summer. And I am such a lazy puss. All I do is sleep cause it keeps raining. So dark and gloomy!!!

I hope to be spending some time with the human. But she goes away alot. so we will see.

I decided to interview mommy once again.

"Well, mommy what's it like to be 40?"


"No different. But I have lived half my life!

"Me too!... I will be 7 in July... Are u getting me balloons again?"

"Yes, baby. With the curly string hanging from them. So you can run around and chase the balloons and crunch on the string. All though it is bad for your belly, the string,"

"Yes. but it's just once a year. And I always munch the xmas string in brothers room"

" Leo. You bad little beast. So baby are liking the nice weather?"

yes but it has been raining alot.

A little. good job on catching the baby squirel. How did you do that?"

Secret. the kitty never reveals how. His head was very tasty though.

So mommy you have lived a long time. What is your advice for us youngsters.


Lets see.

If you think you are going regret it , don't do it.

Never throw out friends. Try taking a break first, then make a decision. Some relationships can be toxic though. So I understand why that may happen.

Eat balanced. Meaning some fats, sugars, salts, protein. Everyone before us had fats and did just fine.

Make sure to have a eletronic free time slot or day if you can manage it. Go out with a friend instead. Or get a board game out and play with your family.

That's about it beast

I would like to add- that during that electronic free time, feel free to pat the kitty and play with him.

Hee hee. You need to be brushed, baby.

Mew ! Mommy is 40

Purrs and kisses... my mommy is 40 today. She is down at her friends house. I miss her very much. She will be back on Sunday.

I can't wait to ask how she feels being 40. I am sleeping on her inflatable bed that she has for her facial services. She was practicing on the grandma. So I am on here resting.


I hope she will be home soon to play with me. She has been playing string and patting me. It has been most fun.

Maybe she will roost with me on the deck. I know her allergies have been bad though.

Mew I am so happy to be back. My mommy has had computer issues since March. Hopefully everthing will be fine now.

The weather has been very nice and I have been resting on our deck. I am shedding some fur. Although mommy claims I should be done with shedding soon. I just don't see it.

My cat thinks spring is coming. The birds are out and the weather was warmer today. He keeps going out. He just went out in the rain and came back as one soggy rat...!!!

Febuary Break

Well, my mommy was home! Fur many days. We just laid in bed the whole time. Kissed and snuggled. It was so fun. I think mommy was a bit shocked. Usually I enjoy my time alone. The last couple of days I went my separate way. And she had stuff to do too. I think she met a human for lunch.

There is talk that I might get canned food added to my crunchies. I am a big boy and the crunchies aren't filling me up. I have been waking them up at five wallowing with hunger.

I heard a bird yesterday!! I think better weather might be coming in. I hope. I miss basking in the sun on our deck....
