Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, yada yada yada. I'm bitter. I didn't get ANYTHING for Christmas--well, except for a few treats that is, and they were all smushed looking. Ashton and Dusty got colorful play mice and lots of treats! Basically I just laid on the brown chair (which Benjamin (who is Morgans dad-- Morgan is my owner) calls "the cat chair"). Well that and got ignored.
And PLUS, my black cat friend hasn't been hanging around. Either he found a family or...well, let's just say he wasn't quite cut out for forest life. Well, he did seem like a bit of a wimp. (But who am I calling a wimp? I run off the deck like a complete idiot if I see one of my owners walking towards me!, and I won't come in at night until it's absolutely too cold for me to stand anymore). Well.... Survival of the fittest.
PAUSE. . . . . I heard something.
I look down. Dusty's sittin there below the computer chair where I'm sitting and he's howling like a dying wolf.
"Hey stupid," I snap. Funny how Ashton's head shoots up from where he was taking a nap. "Not you, Ashton. Moron," I mutter under my breath.
"Gypsie, I need to check my Catster! And I need to see if I have any adoring fans," Dusty licks his paw dramatically.
"Ha! In your dreams," I meow-laugh. "Well whatever. Hold on. You can wait a second, can't ya?"
Fine, well, Dummy here's got his tail in a knot, so I'm gonna let you go. He won't leave me ALONE.

I have a friend... His name is Coal, and he's a big, black cat. We'll sit out in the front yard together and just chat about the local news. He'll bring news of cats far away (he's a loner and doesn't have a single home). Sometimes he'll come up on the deck when he's really hungry & he'll eat our food, but usually he stays away. I told him he should think about getting a permanent, forever home, but he said that's not the kind of lifestyle for him.
Coal is a nice cat, and he's helped me fight off raccoons before. They come up all the time, along with possums. We usually back off when they come up but lately Ashton has been hissing and extending paws threateningly when they show up. Eventually he just scurries off to the green cat "palace" (Yes we still have it).
Well I better go. Bye ;)

My baby boys are growing up. They'll be 6 months old next month, October 3. I do more on my own now, since they know how to hunt and everything. they are turning out to be handsome boys, and I'm sure they will stick around our territory since we're such a close family.
I can't believe that they are 5 months old already... they are turning into such big boys :)
