Arrival Story:
He and his brother had been abandoned in the parking lot of a busy Target store and Freckles was the scout of the two... The tinny, persistent sound was audible even over the noise of a busy parking lot and as I left my car to walk towards the store doors it seemed to follow me. I couldn't see or figure out where the annoying noise was coming from until a man walking towards me grinned while pointing to the tire of a car I had just passed. Peeking out from the inside of the tire was a tiny, tinny voiced kitten with the biggest ears I'd ever seen. For me it was love at first sight, for him it was duty first and that was to lead me to his brother who I found, after following this tone deaf, jakalope-eared midget kitty back down the lot, was hidden beneath the car parked next to my own.

Never has a cat who owned me has a greater sense of humor and mischief. By the time he was eight months old he would run and feign sleep after knocking something over. Until he was too old to do it, if Boy'o wanted my attention to play - up he would jump to my back or shoulder all 20 pounds of him, no claws involved. Thing was, as sure as he was of those jumps he never had control of his thick, powerful tail. Whole place settings were wiped off of a table by a swish of a tail, tablecloths dragged off by him walking beneath the edges and faces slapped as he turned to sit in ones lap. He liked the bubbles from soda cans popping in his face, he kissed upon request, he clearly said, "Mom" and "hello" Boy-O is dearly missed.
