Daddy did some more looking at the Almost Home Foundation. My biological sister Skeeter is still available for adoption. Worse, Dad mis-heard about what happened to me as a kitten. You see, originally Daddy thought Momma was abused while pregnant then rescued. But she was abused after we were born and I and my sister and brother had to watch a mean human bury our momma ALIVE! A kind human saved all of us and Almost Home helped my momma get better.

So as it turns out, I was a stray too. It could be why I don't like being held and have some different ways of showing affection. It doesn't change what's important though. It doesn't change that I'm in a loving and safe furever home.

Please, if anyone is in the far NW burbs of Chicago and wants a sweet cat, follow the link above. Skeeter deserves a good home. We're at the maximum number of cats here so we can't take her in. She turns 2 years old in 2 months. Don't you think that a loving home would make a pawsome birthday present?

What a terrible thing to happen to your fur Momma and siblings. We're so thankful you were rescued, and hopefully your fur Momma is doing okay now. We will purr that Skeeter finds a loving home soon.

Thanks Violet! Momma was adopted in October 2008 (shortly after Daddy took me in as a foster). I'm not sure about my brother. But if Skeeter is anything like me, she'll have issues at the adoption shows. You see I don't like other cats (except my step-sibs) and I hissed and growled at everyone when I had to go. I was very unfriendly and no one saw me at my best. If Daddy didn't decide to keep me, I would still probably be there. I bet Skeeter is a real sweetheart at home and would be a great cat if given the chance.

Oh golly gee wizz I just hate to hear about the ruff and tuff start you had. But you're in a great home now pal and I hear we're furiends! Yee Haw - now you stay in touch with me. Okey Dokey?
