Where is everyfur? never have i seen catster dis quiet! Seems like nofur is on line, or dey all mad at daddy!! Somefur tell me, WTC is happening here???

Won't be here as much

Dear furriends!! Just a little note to let you know that after this week, starting August 8th, we will not be around as much. We WILL still be here, when we get a chance, just depends on when daddy gets home each night, and how tired he is! The Maryland Renaissance festival starts the end of the month, and daddy has over 200 portable toilets to get down there and set up!! Plus, he will be working Sunday mornings, starting August 28th, thru the 3rd sunday in October! Then he has to get them all back to the yard!
We WILL be here on Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons, and any weekdays that it is possible!!
Remember...bees good!!! The Catfather is STILL watching!!!

Sadness

You remember in past diaries, we've talked about daddy's not feral feral?? Well he has been gone for over a week. This afternoon Daddy fornd him. He was in the grass, gone. He had apparently been shot with a bb gun. The little guy tried to get here, but just couldn't make it. Guess it happened yesterday, and he crawled from whereever to the yard, and passed before daddy got home. Little kitty, we really didn't know you, but we wish you god speed to the bridge, and that we know you will be waiting for daddy there. Rest easy, little guy

Purrs and a thought

First I's wants to purr for all the fur babies who are suffering in one of the worst heat waves in recent memory. both in the States, and abroad. This heat is dangerous, so be suer your humans put plenty of water out for you, and if possible, stay INSIDE, in da a/c until it cools off. For outside kitties, drink even more, and stay in the shade!! We are all purring that our friends : old, new, and not met, stay safe and healthy!!
For da humans. if yous live near a feral colony, PLEASE make sure they have water, and plenty of it!! ( A little food too, if you can spare it, but water is most important)

Another date with my Booboo

I flew down to Texas to be with my Booboo on her big Gotchs day! It was June 28! We strolled along the gulf coast, Sat in the sand, just snuggling and watching the birds! Later on, we went to a fancy seafood restaurant in Kemah, ( I don't read French!! Didn't know escargot was SNAILS!!! YUCK!!) After dinner we went to this place called Theatre under the Stars!! And the purrfect play was being purrformed!!! CATS!!! As I drove her hone, I really wanted to stay, but with what is going on at our respecitve homes, figured I better not! I gave my sweetie a final kiss, as I boarded the flight to Baltimore!!! I miss my Booboo!!!

WOW!!!

Wow what a weekend!!! And it hasn't stopped yet!! Zach got a DDP, Finey and Panda eac gots 2 DP's, Tundra was COTD Sunday, Mees was COTD yesterday, and todays Tink is COTD!! And Nonny got DDP today!! Did I's miss anyfur?? Probably, Too much excitement!!!
Panda really ticked daddy off this afternoon!!! She decided to move the kits under the couch!!! BAD MOVE, CAT!!! Sooooo, she AND the kits are now confined to the bathroom!!! Daddy says it's too dangerous under there, if someone bumps the couch, a kit could get hurt!! She is NOT happy with daddy!!! So he has a choice, the bathroom, mor get rid of the couch!!! This weekend he is buying an enclosed baby play pen for them!!!Going to line the sides with cardboard, and then they will go in there!!! Looks like daddy will be re-arrainging the apartment, again!!!
MEWS!! Forrest has 1 eye open!!! 6 (almost 7) days old now!!! WOW!!!

OMC!!!

OMC!!! What an honor!!! Thank mews sooo much fors makin mees de CAT OF THE DAY!!! I's don't knows what to say!!! I's feels soooo special!!! ( I's the 1st member of dis family dat gets dis honor!! Wierd though, a TURKISH Angora COTD on July 4!!! MOIL!!) I's also wants to thank ALL mys furiends, who sent gifts, and offered words of encouragement to daddy and Panda, during this LOOOOOONG pregnancy!! Sooo glad THAT is over with!!! MOL!!! ( Kringle....backs off!!! Dis bees MY diary, not yours!!)
Daddy just fed Panda, and gave us all treats for bein good!!! (Yes, even Kringle has decided to avoid the box!!)
