Not sure if we did it right, because part of the html code shows and I don't think it should. Mom doesn't have time to fool with it cause she's packing for the Greek trip so she'll fix it later.

STILL MISSING YOU TERRIBLY

Well Darling Boy, its been two years now, but it feels like yesterday. Everyone in the neighbor misses you. The Chipmunks are out of control and there is talk of poisioning them. It was never necessary when you were here.
Dad thinks of you every day and smiles and says what a great cat you were. I miss your demands at the back door to be let out or let in....I get no exercise anymore.

We love you and miss you so much Rouke. You were a cat among cats!

Love,
Mom & Dad

One of my dearest friends went to the Bridge today. It was for the best and she is happy and doesn't hurt anymore, Dandelion I am so happy to see you and yet so sad that you are here. So terribly sad.

YASASS LITTLE ONE

Well, well, what have we here? A new Greek kitten in the house. I've been so busy hunting Chippers I failed to note her arrival. She reminds me a lot of Ela, but since she's just a kitten she's not nearly as round *grin* yet *wink wink* Ela. I'm so happy to hear she shows no interest in going outdoors. That will be a big step toward living a long and happy life in America.
Welcome little one!
Many happy whisker kisses from your brother at the Bridge,
Farouk

A few of my friends have asked about my "Bird Bib" so I put a link to the site on my page here at Catster. If you scroll down to the bottom of the link page, you'll see me. There are testimonials from all over about how great it is.

ALWAYS A GREEK IN THE HOUSE

Mom told Dad there just had to be a Greek cat in the house and since I went to the Bridge she really missed having me around. So she started planning just how to convince Dad bringing another one back was his idea. That failing she just told him how much she missed me and cried alot. That, of course, worked. That's how she got Suleiman and I to America in the first place....cried every night at the dinner table and didn't eat until he agreed to bring us back to Kentucky.

Welcome to America Paisa. It was good to hear your tests came up negative, but then I knew they would. We Greeks are very healthy just not too wise when it comes to cars. Glad to hear you'll be staying inside.

FROM THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

I guess I've gone to the Rainbow Bridge. It happened some time during the night last Thursday or Friday July 28th/29th. Mom gave me my favorite treat, a porkchop bone, outside because I tend to make a huge mess. Anyway, when it was time for me to come back in.....I wouldn't. A neighbor rang the bell around 7 a.m. on the 29th and told my Dad it looked like I had been hit by a car. By then I was well on my way to the Bridge. It all happened so fast I don't think I heard the car coming because I am very careful about cars since the first time I was hit. But being a stubborn Greek I will just NOT be kept inside...I will go out when I want to! I should have listened to them. Mom has been crying ever since and Dad is awfully quiet and when they look at each other they both cry. Misha, Pasha & KhaiLei keep looking out the window and back door waiting for me to come home.

I want to thank all of my kitty friends and their families that have been sending words of support and encouragement to my family. I know Mom and Dad will never forget me and I will always be with them just like Suleiman. Some day my ashes will go back to my Greek home, along with Suleiman's and we will all be happy together on our island.

I'll be watching over all of you,
Your buddy,
The Roukmeister aka Farouk the Fearless

Its amazing. This bib thing is not that bad. People aren't laughing at me. They are smiling because I cut quite a dashing figure in my bib. My Dad says I look like I'm wearing an over sized tie and ready to go out for the evening.

WELL SHE DID IT

My female human aka executive assistant has been preaching at me for sometime about my avian, as well as small critter, harvesting skills. She kept telling me to "lose them or else". I guess this is "or else" because today she let me out with an evil laugh after attiring me in this ridiculous "Birdbib". I don't know which is more humiliating....not catching the birds and having them laugh at me or the stares and hysterical laughter of the people in the cars driving past. I shall get even!!!! Plotting ....plotting here. She will pay dearly for this insult to Farouk the Fearless!!!! Just take a look at the last picture on my page and you will understand.

DANG IT

Dang it, Dad went on another business trip. I hate it when that happens. Now I'll have to wait forever for Mom to get up and let me out. She insists that its completely light before I can go outside. Dad always fudges and lets me out when he get the newspaper. Which works nicely because Mom lets me back in when she comes down for her second cup of coffee. Then, after I have my breakfast, I go back to bed with her while she reads for a while.
