Arrival Story:
My mom picked me out this summer. I used to live with my bio mommy & daddy and brothers in sisters in a very unhappy home. We were being poisioned by the male owner so a nice volunteer from the AWAP (a DV project) came and rescued us. I stayed there in her barn until I was 8 weeks old. When I was 8 weeks old it was time for us to find a new home, and that's how I met my mommy. She picked me out cause she though I was a girl and I was the only short-haired kitty. She loved my double paws & when she held me I purred really loud. We knew we were a match so I went home with her that night.

Bio:
We used to live with my mommy's boyfriend, but things got complicated and we moved out. Now we live with my mommy's parents and they have a big golden retriever. Her name is Katie. I love playing with Katie and attacking her tail. Sometimes when I'm feeling real playful I run super fast right towards her, then jump into her face. She loves me too, though I do annoy her. No one seems to think that I'm really a persian/maine coon mix. Everyone says I look just like a Russian blue. Either way, I know I'm a pretty kitty.

long time.

It's been a long time since I've written in here, I guess I've just been way too busy to let people know what's going on.

I've gotten a lot older, and bigger since last year. I'm now a year and a half and my mom says I drive her nuts.

See, we moved AGAIN! and every other time we've moved her roommate has had a nice big golden retriever or another kitty for me to play with. Our new place doesn't have this, it's just me and mom. Mom works so long ever day, I miss her.

I've been trying to let her know that I miss her too. I wake her up during the night so we can play, but she gets mad at me cause my way of waking her up is "mean" she says. I didn't realize that throwing pictures and glass candle holders on floor at 2:30am was mean. Sure the glass breaks and mom has to clean it up, but at least she's up right?

She's also caught on to my toilet drinking habbits. She's always putting the seat down now. Oh well...

I love her though, will get through this. I may have to make a plea for a friend though, it's awfully lonely all day by myself.

Saturdays

Saturdays are just the hardest for me. I usually like to spend my days sleeping so that I will be good and rested for when the rest of the family comes home. But on Saturday's everyone is home and there is just so much going on that I need to be awake so I can see it all happening.

Today my mommy & her mommy washed the sheets. When they came out of the dryer I got to roll around in them. It was so nice.

Something not nice that happened today was Mommy cleaned my ears out. I hate having my ears cleaned. I shook my head and got the solution in my mommy's eyes. She wasn't too happy.

I have a couple of things I want to get into today. I really want to eat more of my big sister Katie's doggie food, cause it annoys her when I do that. I want break another plant pot, and I want get into the bag of yarn.
