indoors Arrival Story: The last of our 8 cats had just passed away. We'd been with cats for the past 20 years. We weren't getting another cat. It’s just too painful to see them go. A week later we couldn't stand it any longer. We just had way to much love in us to not have a fur child running around. Our sister is involved with the Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals. She contacted one of the ladies and requested a special needs older cat "the most pathetic, saddest case you got". They got Ace!! He's been officially renamed Popeye by my sisters (he lives w/ them), I just call him Ace. Our mom calls him Penguin. She can. She’s the mom! However he doesn't know any of his names, but it’s only been a month! Bio: The story goes that he was in Brooklyn. He’d been trapped to do a TNR. However it was noticed that he had a bad eye. Off he went to the Murray Hill vet office. His eye was removed. He'd also been found positive for possible feline leukemia. He needs to be retested in about 6 months. He spent about 6 weeks at the vet’s office. He's not feral or at all scared of people for a kitty that had been on the streets for who knows how long.! He is such a lover!! He acts as though he's been at his new home since forever. This boy CAN talk!! Full Siamese trait. He’s nonstop. His favorite time is when all his girls are home and he can bask in their adoration! He has full conversations with each one. He watches TV at night w/ one sis, and knocks on the door of the other sis every morning at about 5 so he can come in and snuggle. He doesn't like being alone. Mom’s w/ him most of the day and he follows her everywhere!! Especially the kitchen, he has an insatiable appetite.
