If you can't bite, don't show your teeth ~ Yiddish Proverb

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

Lately, there seems to be a lot of news about cats out there. Cooper just sent me another story I must share. There is a kitty out there named Yoda who has extra ears. Yoda's mama had eight kittens and he was the last one left when everyone was adopting his siblings. Nobody wanted him because they thought he looked scary or evil or something. He's not evil, he's special. Now his people keep him indoors because he's so rare they are afraid someone will catnap him.
I had some spare parts for a while too, but I wasn't on Fox news or anything. I have my big kitty fangs now but for a while I had my big kitty fangs and my kitten fangs all in my mouth together! It was great! I was like a shark! Fangs all over!
Well, everyone have a nice Labor Day Weekend

Bonny's Bad Summer

"It is a good thing to learn caution from the misfortunes of others." ~ Publilius Syrus

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

Uncle Cooper is after me to write in my diary. I am still so young and am busy playing and all that stuff that a kitten does. But he made it easy for me. He sent me a story to report to everyone. It's kind of bad, but it ends good so I'll pass it along to all of you:

" BERLIN (Reuters) - A four-year-old cat in Germany called Bonny has survived after being walled in beneath a bathtub for seven weeks, its owner said Tuesday.

"It's a miracle," said Monika Hoppert, a 60-year-old widow from the western town of Stadthagen. "I'm a strong believer, I think she must have had a guardian angel. I'm so happy."

Bonny disappeared on June 19 while workmen were replacing pipes in the block of flats where Hoppert lives. The black cat was last seen in a neighboring apartment, where the cladding around a bathtub had been removed.

Just before tub was sealed up again, Bonny had probably crept underneath, Hoppert said.

By the time the neighbor heard Bonny's plaintive miaowing from behind the tiles on August 8, the cat's weight had dropped from 13 pounds to 4 pounds.

"I couldn't believe it. But when I got down there, I knew it was my cat because they all have their own voice," said Hoppert.

Bonny was so weak the vet recommended she be put down. But Hoppert nursed her back to health with watered down kitten food.

"She's almost back to normal now. This morning was the first time she'd jumped onto my bed again," Hoppert said."

How's that for a story? Poor Bonny in the black hole for almost the whole summer. I hope she's having lots of sushi and caviar and baby food right now. Let's all be careful in the ladies room. It just seems like a smart thing to do.

Kisses,

Lottie

"Today you can go to a gas station and find the cash register open and the toilets locked. They must think toilet paper is worth more than money." ~ Joey Bishop

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

I really love my momma and in the morning when she is getting ready for work I always follow her into the ladies' room to be with her and to look around and everything. This morning was a little unusual. I am fascinated by the white water bowl. It is giant and has cold water in it all the time. I was walking around on it and: Bloop! I fell in! When I told uncle Cooper he thought it was super funny. He never fell in. My momma laughed too. She said: "Poor Lottie, did you get all wet, you poor baby? Ha hahahahahaha! " How embarrassing! Both my back feet got wet and my tail a little bit too. Fortunately, there are no photos of the incident. I'm dry now, but I don't recommend it.
Please be careful in the ladies' room. You could be next.

Kisses,

Lottie

Won Ton tagged me!

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

I heard from Cooper about Patrick, his flight buddy. So, anyway, the new cat in the house where Patrick used to live, Won Ton, tagged me. So I have to tell six things I don't like.
I told WonTon that might be hard since I pretty much like everything but I will try.

1. I don't like it much when my momma leaves me. (Cooper wrote about this in his
KaChunk! story.)
2. I don't like it when my dooty box is icky. I am very dainty and ladylike.
3. I'm not happy when my momma shuts the bathroom with me outside. I yowl to make sure she knows I am unhappy and she should let me in.
4. I feel bad when my momma hides her face from my kisses. I guess I made her nervous from doing bities in with the kisses sometimes.
5. I don't like being so little and having so much to learn. Cooper says not to worry, I will learn but it seems so much to a little kitty like me.
6. I don't much like when the lights go out. I want to play 24 hours a day!

Kitties I want to tell what they don't like are: Scooter, Kazumi Joy, Milagrito, Paula, Beautie and Hilda.

I hope this is okay...

Kisses,

Lottie

"...we are not much different in fact to many other forms of animal life; and it is because of subtle human conditioning-- not the actual facts --that we are raised to believe there is a wide gap between what is human and what is animal." --Gareth Patterson

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

I am just a little cat and don't have a lot to say yet, but Uncle Cooper sent me a story from YouTube that I thought was quite wonderful and I wanted to share it with everyone.
Christian's parents were zoo lions and when he was born the zoo sold him and he went to Harrods Department Store. This is where his luck improved. Anthony Bourke and John Rendall, saw him in Harrods and decided they had to have him and give him the best life they could. Christian turned out to be a remarkable lion, he was very intelligent and loving, and gentle to everyone, both human and animal.
So, anyway, Christian got too big for a house anymore and they decided he should move to Africa and live as wild lion. And he did.
After a year they went to visit him and Christian remembered Anthony and John and ran right up to them and hugged them and everything. I think it's a really good story.
I hope you do too.

Talking to Heaven

"Love is not a product of reasonings and statistics. It just comes--none knows whence--and cannot explain itself." (Eve's Garden) ~ Mark Twain

Friendly Greetings Everyone,

My Uncle Cooper was kind enough to introduce me to Catster. I am so glad my momma got me and I can talk to him on the internet when I need to find out something about being a cat or about my momma or just anything at all. I told him I was too little to have a diary here, but he said to just go on ahead and he will help me all I need.
(To tell you the truth, Cooper isn't really my uncle. At least I don't think so. But he said to call him that because he will be like my uncle if I have questions or need help or anything so that's good enough for me. He's my spirit uncle just an e-mail away.)
Anyway, hello everyone! I will try to follow in Uncle Cooper's footsteps and keep everyone posted here.

Kisses,

Lottie
