Arrival Story:
In January 2008, Callisto was found on the cold Chicago streets by Animal Control. She had such a bad respiratory infection that she could barely breathe. PAWS Chicago (the city s largest no-kill organization) took her in and spent 2 months nursing her back to health. They then moved her to their new, state of the art, cage free adoption center where I found her and took her home.
Bio:
My vet and I are sure she wasnt a stray forever. She is too socialized to have never lived in a home before. When she was found, however, she had no collar and no chip. For several weeks after I adopted her, I felt guilty that I had taken someone elses pet. Shes such a darling that I have to believe her former family must miss her. Please chip your pets!
