I can sing, they just can't hear me!

The cat tree......

Yes, we have a cat tree. It sits in front of the window in the library and has a nice pearch that is great for sunning. Trouble is, everytime I want to sit there, everyone else feels the need to sit there too. I mean, it's empty, no one else is around and the minute I hop on top, everyone else wants to hop on top too! It's just sooooo darn frustrating.

Maybe I'll ask Santa for a cat tree all my own. Yeah, I think I'll do that, I'll start my christmas gift early.

Horror movies

Yeah, I like horror movies but it seems they don't like me.

There are always great movies on this time of year and I love nothing more than sitting in my humans lap, stealing a bit of popcorn from the bowl and watching all the screams and gore on TV.

I've never had a problem with this before but last night, I woke up and attacked Old Auntie. I thought she was the boogie man coming to get me!

Oh wait, she IS the boogie man!

Nahh.. Auntie isn't that bad, truly, she's just old and cranky. Still, I felt bad. I mean, she says I chased her all the way down stairs. I don't remember that, but I guess I did as my human told me this morning that I have to take a break from watching the movies.

And here it is, two days before Halloween and the best movies are yet to come. *pouts*

Maybe if I write Auntie a letter of apology? What do you guys think? Think if I do this that my human will change her mind and unground me from watching the movies? I mean, I'm going to miss some GOOD movies!

*cries*

Grumbles.....

So today had it's amusing points and it's bad points -

First, I got to laugh with Nemo at Smeagol. Or rather SING! Smeagol was none to happy, but Nemo and I sure got a good chuckle. That's what he gets for posing for those photo's. I mean, have you SEEN them? He looks like he's trying to pose for class president or something.

I on the other hand, would have made silly faces at the camera and chased my tail when told to "sit still and smile".

Ah well, I am not my brother and he is not me.....

The bad part of today -

I learned I have to go to the vets. Seems I am to have a scan to see if my heart is working right. I don't know what it's all about but I over heard my human say something about "Isis" and it's important that I have this done if I am to have a date with her.

Don't know what all that means, but I suppose I can deal with the vets and the carrier (I hate the pet carrier) if it means getting to see Isis again.

(hears Smeagol tease him about his girlfriend in the background)

Poor Smeagol, he just doen't know what it means to have a Lady like Isis sniffing at him! He's young, he'll learn in time.

Okay, gotta get ready for the dreaded vet visit.
