Lucky 13

Today is my Birfday. and I am 13! Mumma thinks this is a lucky number.
Akshully, mumma thinks I am lucky to be here to celebrate another year after my lengthy disapurring in May.
So happy birfday to me... I'm happy to be....here. Now working on another year. Wheeeeee! Wonder what trouble I can get into!

Toof Fairy

Today I had my toofs cleaned and that varmint v-e-t stole two of them right out of my mouf! Will the Toof Fairy put cat treats under my pillow?? or his?
Mumma brought me home earlier and she put me in the cat-jail because she said I was still loopy. I wasn't loopy, I was HUNGRY and I proved it by eating a whole can of food.
Mumma put a bed in the jail so it would feel more like a college dorm room, but Cappie had been sleeping in that bed and I'm NOT going to sleep in his stinky bed! She finally put in a brand new fleece pad and it's so soft and fluffy I think I will sleep for a while....oh ok..maybe I am a little loopy....ZZZzzzzzzz

Mumma made me go to the v-e-t with Purrcy fur a whole week because I was sposed to have my teefies cleaned, but instead they put gunky medicine in my I's.

So I have to back again in the DREADED BOX on Friday to see if I am well enough to have my teefies cleaned...Ugggggh!

Just an update..

So glad to report that absolutely nothing has been going on with me!! I am home, eating, and (much to mumma's dismay) still eyeballing the door and thinking of escaping again....
Mumma keeps the spray bottle handy and she is not afraid to use it! MOL!

I'm in good shape!

Yesterday Mumma talked to Dr. Ted. He said my labs were good - just a little elevation of my BUN (blushes) and WBCs.
Dr. Ted said I was mildly dehydrated, but he didn't see any other problems.
I am eating and sleeping a lot!!!
I'm not ever going to go outside again!! I'm glad to be home!!!

I'd rather be kissing than missing!

Very late last night, I came home!!! Mumma is so very happy to have me back that she is smooching me every other minute. I slept all night with her curled up as close as I could get and mumma held me throughout the night. It felt good to be loved again.
Today I just slept and slept. Mumma thinks this is because I was locked in somewhere (maybe a neighbor's garage?), and I have had to sleep a lot to preserve my body functions.
I lost weight (mumma estimates about a pound and a half) and all of my front claws are worn down from scratching to get out. Other than that, mumma can't see anything wrong with me.
Tomorrow, Mumma is taking me in the DREADED BOX to see the BAD MAN. She wants to make sure I am ok and see if she should do anything special to help me get well again.

I'm HOME!!!!!!

Oh my gosh...all I did was walk in the door...you would have thought I had won the Miss America Pageant or something!
So I lost a little weight and I'm sure not telling where I have been for two whole weeks...I'm home and Mumma says that's all that counts.
Thank you all for your prayers and purrs. You kept Mumma's head above water and helped her keep believing that I would come home.
Yes, folks, I AM HOME and I'm her to stay!!!

I sat for a couple of hours

But she is afraid to come in, I guess. I have food out for her and I have locked up the 2 boys who go out. I feel horrible that she is afraid of me right now, but I know that is not unusual so I will not take it to heart too much. I have been out sitting and talking softly to her for a couple of hours...I'll stay all night if I have to...
