Hi Basil,
You're my little cutie, the only one who I'll move over for in bed. When I got you, I was so happy to have you because I never had a real pet before. Well, I had a hampster, but he hardly knew I existed. So you were my little advocate in a house full of people, you were so mine. You kept me happy and kept me on my toes.
Then we moved someplace else and I couldn't be with you as much as I wanted to be. I missed you, but you missed me more. So after a short time, I made sure we could always be together. And here we are, with a daddy and dog and cat sisters for you, but a forever home and a forever family. And many cat toys, blankets, pillows, and good viewing windows.
You sometimes drive me insane, but I know that you'll always be on the stairs when we come home, you'll always want to sit on my lap, and you'll always be my little boy.

You're a big part of why my life is so happy. I love you,
