I am 10 today and Meowmy almost forgot again.

Holy Kitty Kats! Meowmy did it again. She ALMOST forgot my birthday today and she almost forgot that it is my sisfur Baby G's birthday, too. She claims she has had too much on her mind of late.. but can't she read the calendar? Pffffffttttt.... Baby G and I should plot our revenge now.

Meowmy has been anxiously awaiting a call about Prince from the oncologist that our doc doc contacted after the lymphoma diagnosis we received on him on Monday. I think she is getting "ditzy" in her aging process. Then, on top of that, my dad called to tell Meowmy that his mother had a visit with the human doc doc and that she needed to be there. You see, my dad is on a trip to Arizona to see my human sisfur and my human nephew and then to join up with his work furiends to tour the Grand Canyon and Red Rocks and other Arizona sites. Meowmy was still in her pajamas when my dad called and had less than a half hour to get dressed and meet Grandma's transport bus at the doc's. Meowmy was NOT a happy camper with the short notice. Dad is furgetful... but he has always been furgetful... Meowmy says her brain it overloaded. Hmmmmppptttttt.....

I want to thank Teddy and the Kit Kat Club for my birthday greetings, Mr. Sam for my beautifur bouquet of tulips and birthday message and Tessa and furmily for my neat baseball and birthday greetings. You are all so nice to remember me on my birthday.

Sad news ~ Our dear furiend Cocoa crossed the Rainbow Bridge- during the early moring hours

Shortly before 8:30am EST, we got some very sad news. Auntie Barbi called Meowmy to tell her that our dear furiend Cocoa had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He will always be a special part of our furmily and always in our hearts. He left some big pawprints in each of our hearts. We are all still in shock. Please remember Auntie Barbi and Unkie Rob and all the sad siblings that Cocoa has left behind to mourn and miss him. Cocoa was and is very special to my meowmy... she always loved to hear his cute little meows (sometimes very loud) as he chatted when Auntie Barbi and Meowmy were on the phone chatting. Rest in Peace, dear and special furiend. You will never be far from our hearts. We LOVE you, Cocoa.

Please pray for a dear furiend Norman.

Please remember my dear furiend Norman this morning. He is having a serious operation to remove his gall bladder. He needs our love and prayers and his meowmy could use some, too. I am furry worried about Norman and will be most anxious until I hear some good news that my furiend is okay. Norman, I love you! Feel better soon... get well, dear furiend.

Yesterday Catster lost the BEST of the best.

Yesterday was a very sad day, indeed, for my furmily and me and for so many Catster furiends. We were shocked and saddened to learn that our beloved furiend Hazel Lucy was to go to Heaven at 12:30 PM EST. Our meowmy had come home from getting her hair cut about 11:30 and turned on the catputer to see what was happening. She went to FB first and saw the posting about Hazel Lucy. The next hour we all spent our time crying and praying for Hazel Lucy and her wonderful meowmy Julie.

Hazel Lucy and her meowmy were and are such beautiful and caring souls who started the wonderful Purr Threads on Catster. Hazel Lucy touched all of our hearts in such a special way and she will always hold a very special place in our hearts and in the hearts of so many others. True love never dies and we do truly love Hazel Lucy and thank her for being a most special part of our lives.

Please keep Hazel Lucy and her meowmy Julie in your purrs and prayers during this sad and difficult time. We know that it is never easy to say our earthly goodbyes. We know that our lives will be reunited again one day and that, while absent from the earth, they are always present in our hearts.

We wanted to write yesterday but our meowmy just could not gather herself to help us. Hazel Lucy and Julie hold a very special place in our hearts and we found ourselves too devastated to write.

We still find ourselves shocked and deeply saddened but we know that Hazel Lucy is free of her earthly pain and is healthy again and is now happily reunited with her beloved furhusband Buddie. What a special reunion that was.

Hazel Lucy, we will forever love you and are so blessed to call you our furiend. Our meowmy is blessed, also, to call your meowmy a special friend. You are both dearly loved.

OMC, I am a DDP honoree today!

OMC! I woke up to learn that I have been selected as one of today's DDP honorees. Thank you Catster HQ and Diary Gal. It has been a long time since our family received diary honors.... but then again, we haven't been pawing in our diaries. I share this honor with two furiends, Samoa and Kibbles. I, also, share this honor with two kitties I don't know, Hilda and the DOTD pick Tiny Tot. Concats to all my fellow diary honorees.

Before I start, I wanted to make the humans out there aware of one of the dangers for outside kitties. My sisfur Kujo pawed about it in her diary yesterday because Kujo is a tuxedo cat and the poor kitty who suffered at the hands of some bad humans was also a tuxedo. While this kitty lived less than a mile from us in our neighborhood, we did not know Oreo or his furmily. We heard that the bad humans were actually seen on our street the day of this incident. It happened last Friday (11th) in our neighborhood. We sincerely hope the ones who shot this poor baby are caught and serve time - or worse - for their heinous deed. Please read Oreo's story -

Prissy and her sweet furmily sent me a furever gold star. They said, "Catgrats on being a DDP! Just wish it didn't haff to be fur a diary about Mouse bein so sick. Happy Valentine's Day to all my furiends.

Oh my kitty cats! I can't believe that it had been seven months since my meowmy had allowed me to paw in my diary (until I was tagged recently). None of us have been pawing much but seven months is way too long. We have had lots going on in our furmily with different sickly kitties and issues and my human grandmother has had lots of problems with her health and my pawrents have had furry full plates. I was not one of the sick or injured kitties, thank catness.

We lost too many furiends during this time. They had to go the Bridge and we have been furry sad about it. Each furiend lives in our hearts but it was just too hard to visit Catster.

Another reason we have not written in our diaries is the changes in Catster. For us, the changes made Catster so slow that Meowmy has not found the time to work with us on our diaries. Many of our furiends were put in the kennel for their comments about different things and we did not care for the punishment that our furiends received. We love our furiends furry much and it made us furry sad that they were being punished.

On January 26th, my dear furiend Norman sent me a beautiful heart. He said, "Sending you and yours lots of love, hope you and your family are all okay. We think of you guys so much, kinda sad Catster has alienated so many of our pals, we miss them. Love always, Normy"

On February 12th, my most handsome furhusband Mouse sent me a dozen red long stemmed red roses. He said, "Dearest Princess, I love you now and forever. Happy Valentine's Day from your loving husband. Mouse xoxoxoxoxoxox"

Today, Mr. Skins and his sweet furmily sent me a beautiful valentine heart. They said, "Happy Valentine's Day, you beautiful kitty! May you continue to be spoilt and loved by everyone!"

My very dear and most special furiend Norman tagged me. It has been a long time since I was tagged to play, so... here goes!

1. Trimming my nails. I put up a fierce fight but my pawrents overpower me. Is that fair?

2. Going to the doc doc. I do not like being put into the prison crate and hauled to see the vampires. My pawrents seem to get pleasure in doing this to us.

3. Having to stay in my dad's bedroom and what was the art room when my sister lived here. My dad cut a kitty hole between the two rooms so I could roam between the rooms but... the doors are shut and I can't roam the house during the day.

4. Having "OTHER" kitties in MY home! I want to be the ONLY one.

5. Not letting me play on the computer everyday when I want!

I must elaborate a little on my furiend Normy. You see, Normy was my first love on Catster. Normy is and was furry shy with females and he let me down easy. Normy knows that he was my first love effur on Catster and will always be my best furiend effur. I love Normy dearly and Normy has been so supportive in my relationship with and marriage to Mouse. Normy knows that he will always have a piece of my heart forever.

Lastly, I am furry upset with Meowmy for not allowing us to do our diaries. Her excuses are many but that doesn't resolve our needs to paw the diary. Meowmy never even allowed me to expound on my marriage to Mouse. I am hoping that Meowmy will get with the program and allow us to begin working on our diaries again.

Mouse and I eloped to Las Vegas today.

I would like to write more in my diary tonight about my elopement to the wonderpurr Mouse. We were wed in Las Vegas today. However, it will have to be tomorrow night before I can elaborate on the purrfect wedding. My pawrents were without power for a furry long time and without phone, internet and those on our street who have cable were without it. In fact, they still don't have cable. We have Dish so ours came back on. A tree in our neighbor's yard fell on the lines yesterday and knocked effurything out. It is too hot to be without air conditioning. Meowmy told me she will help me write tomorrow but she must go to bed early because my dad has to go to the doc doc to see about his her-knee-ah. His doc doc is going to operate tomorrow morning. My pawrents must be at the hospital at 5:30 AM. Meowmy says that is furry early so she will be heading to bed soon. I can't wait to tell you about my sweet Mouse and our elopement.
