A Day in the Life of a Queen

Life is good

Now that Daddy is no longer traveling he is working from home on a daily basis and I have plenty of legs to rub against. Mommy likes to sleep in later, so I get to hang out in bed with someone to dote over me. Sometimes I get up and come back later to walk over her before she rises to face the day. I enjoy having her attentions to myself if I can get my sisters to leave the bedroom.

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggidy Jig

Daddy is finally done travelling and is now working from home almost every day! It's great to lay on his laptop case while he works at the table.

Since he sits there instead of his desk, he gets to admire me while he works instead of just staring at the wall. Mommy hates when he gets on conference calls and she can't blast the radio or vaccuum; but hey, he gets a better view - me! And I don't have to walk on his keyboard to be noticed.

Time to go find my fan club. And maybe a nap.

Autumn Blues

Well, I don't like this cooler weather. Mommy is working more this week and so I won't get out even if it is nice, I suppose. And to top it off, Daddy is still travelling. I started out on his side of the bed but ended up on Mommy's pillow. At least I got some lap time last night until the phone rang when Dad called from his hotel. Mom needs to remember to put the phone beside the loveseat before she sits down - I mean, isn't that why it doesn' t have a cord? I'm a cat and I get it!
