Arrival Story:
this guy found me. I was getting into my truck to go to work when I felt something at my ankle . I looked down and there was the tiny tiny kitten... I picked him up and went looking for his Momma and litter mates, but none could be found. He was also avery sick kitty.. felt warm, had a snotty nose and etes and wheezy breath.. . I knew I could not take him back inside as I had other cats and who knows what he had. So he was rushed to the vet where he stayed a week getting IM injections and respiratory therapy. DX with a severe upper repiratory cold.. and had him tested for Feline Luk. He tested negative and was well enough to come home about a week later even though I had to continue his antibiotics . The severe cold apparently damaged his vocal cord or his purr mechanism..because now when he purrs... it is very hoarse and raspy like Larayngitus. Since then he has grown up and has been a very healthy kitty and a terrific addtion to my other kitties and dogs
