Arrival Story:
I had lost Mortimer not long before adopting A-Rod and I was looking for a kitten but not too young. So, one of our pounds was having an adoption day and in the mean time, I saw this cat on Petfinder and thought to myself "that is the cat that is going home with me". Well, I went to the pound and it was so hard...I fell in love with 3 cats. This one cat was named Buddy and I almost took him, but the cat on Petfinder was there. We got along great and I was all set to take him but then Buddy's potential adopters backed out and I almost didn't take A-Rod. Because they're a municipal pound, I really wanted to save a life, so I asked who out of the 3 would be the hardest to adopt out and they told me. I had remembered an e-mail that I sent to one of my co-workers that the next cat I got if he were a male, I'd name him A-Rod (needless to say I am a Yankees fan) and so because he didn't have a name, I named him A-Rod.

He is just too, too precious and I am so glad I got him.

Well, Meowmie is keeping me after all. I did my "cute and sleepy" act for her this morning and when she thought about giving me to someone else, she just could not do it. You should have heard her cry!!! And, I am one very happy kitty!!!

Well, I'm not really all that bad but I am high energy and alot of fun and a good entertainer.It's just that there are too many of us for Meowmie to give attention to and I do things to try and get her attention. I am not a nasty cat at all, I just want someone to play with. And, I am very loving...please take me home with you!!!

Excuse my cuteness but I keep hearing someone on TV talk about me...I don't get it...I do bad things and some dude on TV talks about me? What is going on? My latest and greatest was when I opened the closet door and got into an unopened bag of food. Meowmie loved it!!! She kept laughing at me and laughing at me. I wonder if it means I can do more bad things?
