It's been a year...

So a year ago I got 'the calling' to make my way to Rainbow Bridge. I was quite shocked at the time because I'd only just been rescued and I was actually starting to enjoy life again, even though I still didn't feel too good healthwise, y' know...
Anyway, when you get 'the calling' there's nothing you can do about it...you just have to go with the flow. So I flowed on over the Rainbow Bridge and immediately I KNEW this was the place to be...yes siree!

As I already told you, I was welcomed by Bono who took me back to his houseboat and told me all about Rainbow Bridge. They say you come here to wait for your humans but man I aint waitin' for NOBODY!! I want to stay here for ALL eternity. I think the humans just say that to make themselves feel better! Like as if we've got nothing better to do than to wait for THEM *rolls eyes*.

It's paradise here...warm...safe...and interesting too! There's always something going on and new 'Bridgers' coming along. It's not like on the streets where everyone's on edge and looking for a fight - here we all get along and we're just relaxed and happy.

So tonight, I'm having a special Rainbow Bridge anniversary party and all my Bridge buds are invited. It's on the houseboat and its a barbecue with reams of fresh MEAT and FISH to put on the grill (or eat it raw - your choice!). We have crates of catnip ale and the finest catnip wines known to the felinity. Later on, there will be a limbo dancing competition and the winner gets his own speedboat, to speed around the milk lakes of Rainbow Bridge!
