Arrival Story:
Missy adopted us by hanging around our house for a week. She was seeking shelter and lost. On New Year's Eve in 1991, she literally crashed our party -coming in the door. My brother picked her up and put her back outside and said she was really skinny. The next day we hung pictures of her on our street, so that someone would recognize her. Alas, she wanted to stay with us, and she needed some love, affection, attention to health AND some cat food. We did all that we could, because we knew we loved her. She reminded me so much of my grandmother, who had not long ago passed away. She was instinctive and knew that we needed her as much as she needed us. We were trying to have children and found out that we couldn't. She is really our 1st child and happy to be our oldest! She is a brave happy soul, and for that I am grateful. Missy also fulfills her duties as the grand-motherly type, a little bit bossy, a little bit delicate, super soft, tender-hearted in most cases.

Bio:
I'd love to know what breed of cat she is. She's got beautiful whispy long hair, with some fine hairs around her ears. Her hind undercoat has some curl. She's a very dainty cat, and really always has been.
