Arrival Story:
Odif belonged to my ex-boyfriend. When we broke up, the boyfriend was going to take Odif to the pound if I didn't take him. I had no other cats at the time. I couldn't let Odif go. :) He became mine.
Bio:
Odif has a history of abuse. He was once a biter. He has not been a biter for about a year. He's doing well getting over neglect and abuse. Odif is also one of the most loving kitties I've ever had. His purr motor is non-stop. He's my sleeping buddy, the only cat to sleep with me every single night. Although Odif isn't a show kitty of Persian prettiness, he's a gorgeous boy and I adore him!

I really hate the new kitten. He's annoying. He's super cute and he's always wanting my special mommy to love on him. She is MINE. MINE.
I am not mean, but I hiss at him. I get a bop on the nose. It doesn't hurt, but it makes me run away. I love mommy so much. I can't even begin to think of another kitty having her love!
I'm really happy lately. I am nicer than ever. I used to bite when my mommy first saved me a few years ago. I was getting older and had been neglected. I would bite mommy all the time. I was grouchy. Now, I never bite. I'm a happy cat. I purr all the time, when I never used to purr. I love the other cats, especially Muffin, the girl. We are both black and I like her lots.
My daddy is really my special person. He came to stay about a year and a half ago and never left. I love him very much. At first, he didn't like me that much, but now he loves me tons. We cuddle every single night. I sleep between mommy and daddy. I would sleep on top of daddy if he let me. I always need attention.
I love to run away, though. I don't go far. Since the weather is warmer, I want to get out and rub myself in the dirt! I'm always found under mommy's car. I don't go far! Mommy cries and gets upset when I leave. I will get out again and mommy will find me. We have been playing this game for years.

How do you suppose I got my name? Well, my previous owner wanted to name me Fido. How cute, right? His girlfriend at the time said that wasn't a good name for a cat, so they reversed it and I became Odif. I am not even joking. Sometimes, I don't care for my name. I guess it's grown on me after so many years. I wish I could tell mommy what my old name was. I can't remember! I'm so old.
Mommy likes to pick my white hair. I hate it. Oh I just hate it!
My favorite place to sleep is mommy's bed, at night, and on the brown throw on the couch during the day. I also love the window. I love it more than any other cat. I protect the window. I'm a fierce protecting housecat! RAWR.
Now, back to bed!
