I've been very sick on and off the last few months. Well, not as sick as Riley was when he couldn't walk for 4 days, but still not feeling very well! It started out as a little fatigue and it got to where I didn't feel like doing much of anything. I just might have been more tired than my human, Lindsay! I even stopped keeping my fur perfectly groomed, I was just too tired! (That'swhy I have old man fur in my latest picture!) I've felt sore in my left ear and throat, too, and my tummy felt a little more acidic than usual. They took me to the vet and thought I might be diabetic! I was pretty sure that wasn't it, but lots of expensive blood work points to a bad infection, like toxoplasmosis! Now I have to take bitter medicine every day like Riley, only since I'm an adult I have to take the stronger version and more of it! I hate getting my medicine, and I kind of hold a grudge against Lindsay for an hour or two after each dose... But I am starting to feel better, so maybe it's worth it. But a whole month? Yleck!

Oh! I also got to help Cricket get along better with the other cats... But I'm not ready to be buddies with her until the other cats are convinced she's changed and accepting her as a sister again. The last thing we need around here is more drama!
