It has been quite an eventful first year. I was lucky to have been in the shelter where good people took great care of me. If I had not been there, my forever family would never have had the chance to adopt me.
Once I got to my new home, I became the center of my family's world and rightfully so. All modesty aside, I am quite adorable, very vocal and always enjoy being petted. I can never have too much attention.
I also possess a magnificent red coat which my vet (who is madly in love with me) says is not only rare for a cat (less than 10% of us) but is incredibly rare for a female (less than 1%). So, you must admit, I truly am quite special!
I rule the house and always have to be first but that is necessary for me to maintain my diva status.
like to spend my morning making my Mom feel guilty about going to work but I do forgive her every time she comes home. And I have quite a bit of fun cozying up to Dad which makes Mom soooo jealous.
I like to play with my toys and catnip is a favorite. Food figures into my day as often as possible so I have morphed from 2 to 10 pounds in a year but with my thick red hair no one can see the extra pounds. Of course, I will have to charm the daylights out of my vet when I see her in October so that she won't encourage Mom to put me on a DIET!!! But I will be so cute that she'll probably say "What Meadow wants, Meadow should get" and she would be so right.
It's time for my 4th nap of the day - lots to dream and scheme about :)
