Arrival Story:
Nellie was living with my neighbor who also had 3 kids, another cat and a dog. Nellie was very unhappy there (she DOES NOT tollerate children). One evening she strolled through my back door and made herself at home. My neighbor asked me to please keep her as she wouldn't come back into her house.

Bio:
Nellie is an "office kitty" goes to work with us everyday. She makes sure that everyone notices just how beautiful she is and will allow some customers to pet her. Of course, she has her favorites and insists that she gets her pets before they can do business. Nellie has been with us for about 14 years now. The Vet says she is a very healthy for her age (15) She has however gotten an old age cat illness, hyperthyroid disease. She had begun to loose weight rather quickly. One pound in 4 months and was drinking excessive amounts of water, so we took her in to get checked out. They put her on a prescription diet, no pills. YEAH One week later and we already see a difference! Praise the Lord! Two weeks later.... Nellie has been lethargic for the past few days, has hardly eaten. Today she started having seizures, one right after the other. Poor little kitty, so so sad. Today Nellie passed on. We are so very grateful to have had such a wonderful kitty to love. We are going to miss her so very much.
