indoors Arrival Story: Dixie was probably the most frightened kitten I have ever seen. We adopted her from a foster home at 4 months old where she was basically living in a closet. She spent the first week at our house hiding, at one point she got inside my treadmill which we had to then take apart. It took her 2 months to trust my husband enough to stay in the same room with him. She is now a big suck and accosts us to pet her whenever we see her and can bellow out a meow to rival cats 3 times her size when she is hungry. She still hides whenever guests visit the house. Bio: Dixie was adopted to keep Oliver and Bonnie company as they don't get along. Fortunately Dixie has no fear around other cats and has turned out to be a great companion for both of them, and chases Oliver who is 3x her size. She follows Bonnie around and thinks she is her mommy. Lives Remaining: 8 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
