All in a Day's Work

Mom took me and Payne to work with her last weekend. I don't know what happened but I took a nice long nap. When I woke up I was a little sore downunder. I think I'm missing something, but I'm not sure. Oh well, life goes on. I was raring to go outside after being stuck inside all weekend. I even caught my first mouse since I've made my 'tutoring' trip to the vet.

Well I have figured out how to go through the dog door. The best part is the dog door leads to cousin Rita's house. I have a blast over there with the dogs. Wilbur and Sugar can be a real pain though and sometimes I hide under the bed. I try to meet Mama at the our house so I can chill with my bro's and sis, but sometimes she has to come hunt me down. To bad Mama won't get one of those for our house.

Dang it the bad weather just had to go and leave. I was having a grand time playing in the house. OK Ok. I'll admit I was ready for a breath of fresh air Friday morning and made an escape while Mom was taking everyone back to our house. But I really think they should let me be a predominately inside cat. I can't understand why Mom lets me in for only a couple hours each day. I'm such a suckup-always getting in her lap, purring, licking her hands. Noone else does that for her. Well I guess I'll have to keep working on her. One of these days though I"m never gonna leave the house.
