Arrival Story:
I was a pure bred Maine Coon ex-show kitten who didn't cut it as an adult competitor. My breeder decided I'd be happier with a family and I've been with Phil ever since. We hang out alot and love each other completely. I'm still working on forgiving him for seeing that girl with the two dogs for a few years.

Bio:
When I actually moved to Maine a year or so after leaving the breeder in New York, I tried to get into going outside. I mean that's what cats who live in the country are supposed to do, right? And I mean, I am a Maine Coon after all. Never mind the fishers and coyotes and feral cats. Well, within a few days, I got myself chased up a tree (still not sure if it was a tomcat or a fisher -- it's all a blur) and I just kept climbing. Next thing I knew I was about 40 feet up. While Phil was trying to figure out how to help me down, I slipped and fell. I was falling straight towards a rock and moving too fast for Phil to catch me, but he broke my fall and deflected me into a softer pine-needle-covered area. I got a bloody nose and it sure shook me up but I was OK. I never wanted to go outside again. When Phil moved back to NYC, that was just fine with me.
