We had been married for a year and as an anniversary present, we decided to get a cat. We saw an ad for free kittens and decided to go check them out. Once we saw his cute face, we knew we had to bring Riley home with us!

I love it when it starts to get cooler. At night when I sleep with Mommy and Daddy, I can go under the covers and snuggle with them. In the summer it's too hot to snuggle.
I also like to sit at the patio door and watch the chipmunks. They're fast ,but I'm faster and I could prove it if Mommy would just let me out there!

I know it's summer. I know Mommy and Daddy don't like to have the air conditioning on ALL the time. I know at night they like to have the fan on to cool downthe bedroom. I HATE THE FAN!
I refuse to sleep in the bed with the fan blowing on me. Blech! It's too hot to sleep under the covers therefore I'll just make a nest in Mommy and Daddy's closet. But I'm not happy about it.

Happy birthday Bailey & Devlin. I was too sure about you two when Mommy & Daddy brought you home but I guess you turned out ok.
The best part of today is that we all get somethig special for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to that.
