Leave a treat for Sphinx (RIP)

Sphincter, Sphinxie, Pookie, Sphinxiedoodle

Quick Bio:
-mixed breed-pound cat-cat rescue

Sleeping, eating.

Favorite Toy:
Dunno, he doesn't play much. Maybe mouse on string.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Right smack in the middle of the hallway so you HAVE to step over him.

Favorite Food:
Everything. Especially if it's smelly.

He is fantastic at completely ignoring every other cat around him, no matter how annoying or rambunctious they are.

Arrival Story:
He was a foster who was adopted out, then we found out he may have cancer, and so I took him back. He is terrified of most people except me and Dad, so he is essentially "my cat" now. He was dumped at a high-kill shelter by his former guardian (we suspect he and his "brother" were left behind when his guardian was deceased, because they were both very well loved, though never had any vet treatment besides neutering).

We have no idea how old this skinny old man is, but he looks older and thinner by the day. He's residing with me in "hospice care" because we know he's going to die, no matter how much money we spend trying to postpone that inevitability. So instead we just watch his quality of life and make sure he's happy and functioning properly. He's very sweet and loves to be cuddled and brushed, and he'll jump on the bed to remind you to feed him and he loves to drink out of the running faucet. A lot of really really nice people donated money to get his teeth cleaned and he had to have four of them extracted. His breath was unbearable and he had trouble eating and was infected from it. He's a good boy, and we love him very much.

Really. I'm not.

Now go away. I'm trying to sleep.
