I haven't updated mu diary on Grandpa's progress since he's had his surgery so I thought now was good time.

His recovery from the surgery is going well. He is eat soft solid meals and he's up and walking around with the nurse and cracking jokes. He even wants mum to bring him in a joke book tomorrow.

His lungs are still not right and the doctors are running some tests to find out why My Grandpa was pack a day smoker for a long time so we knew lungs weren't healthy. Mind you the doctors think he shouldn't still need oxygen.

He should get his biopsy results soon. They will put a post op treatment plan in place. We will deal with this as family as we always do just because we love him.

Can you please keep the purrs or whatever do going for my Grandpa since this is the first step in a long recovery.

I hope this find my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send purrs to those doing tough.

Thank you for the progress report, Ka-zar. We are sending purrs to help your Grandpa keep getting stronger. He must keep up with his breathing exercises, and a joke book is a great idea. Laughing is good for the lungs! Sending love to all your family as well.

Your family is always in our purrs. And if I can ask you to purr for my great grandpa...he fell tonight and broke his hip. They are going to do the surgery tomorrow.

PS- Great grandpa is a cancer survivor, been clean for many many years. Oh and Grandma just had her one year survivor anniversary just a few days ago. Yay for good news and hope.
