Well Friday 13th has been and gone in Australia and I survived without a scratch on. I don't buy into the whole Friday 13th thing anyway.
Don't let a black cat cross your path is a common myth. Some of my very good friends are black cats. So their families would have a problem with this. I say if you come a across a black on Friday 13th go up to it and give it a hug and pat. They won't hurt you or bring you bad luck.
The weather here has been rather wet and cold this week. I want to thank my mates for sending the sun. It warmed up a bit yesterday and the rain managed to stay away long enough so mum could go for a walk.
Here's a Murphy law for you. Take a umbrella with you it doesn't rain. Leave it at home and you get soaking wet. My mum has been finding this out the hard way this last week. Got a nice cold for her troubles too.
This is going to be a short chin wag as there is nothing else to write about as my week has been pretty quiet.
I hope this finds my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing it tough.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
Our resident black cat thanks you for your perceptive and erudite comments, Ka-zar. He is of the opinion that HE is the one with the bad luck, having to share space, not to mention hugs and pats, with the rest of us.
We are in need of rain here, so perhaps I will drag Mom's umbrella under the sofa.
Stay warm Ka-zar and dry!
