Quick Bio:

Likes:
Eating. He also loved to run right up one of the carpeted poles in our basement even though he had no claws. (Not my choice to declaw him, believe me!)

Pet-Peeves:
The vacuum, when other animals would come up to our glass door, and not getting all the food in the house. He also hated when I went away to college and couldn't take him. He showed his displeasure by peeing all over my carpet. I felt just awful!

Favorite Toy:
His Bill Clinton catnip toy, who was buried with him. He also loved playing hide and seek. I would peek out of my bedroom doorway then hide and he loved creeping down the hallway to 'attack' me.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Varied. He liked to take turns in all of our beds. When he was in my bed he would always be at the foot of my bed.

Favorite Food:
Everything! He got diabetes later in life and we had to put him on a strict diet. He would lay next to his dish and just cry for more food.

Skills:
He had a knack for sneaking up on you and dipping his paws in your cereal dish. He was also the loudest cat ever, and I swear he knew what I was saying to him.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
We had an "original" Ribbons who was only a couple months old and got hit by a car. It was devastating, truly, since we found him close to death in our backyard. My parents insisted we get another cat right away because they knew if I didn't get one then I might never get over the loss of losing him. Well, we went to the MSPCA, and even though I said I wanted a cat that looked nothing like the first cat, that wasn't the case. I saw a cat that looked just like our first cat and was convinced it was Ribbons in his second life. We fell in love right then and there. When I decided to call him Ribbons my brothers were very upset because they said it was a girly name. I don't think Ribby minded at all!

Bio:
Biggest cat ever! When I would take him to the vet some people would think he was a mountain lion. He was such a good boy though. He would let me drape him around my shoulders and walk around the house. I would also hold him so his paws went around my neck like he was hugging me. I also used to pretend I was Annie when I was little and I would put the Annie record on and wrap him up in a blanket and pretend he was Sandy. He was such a sweet boy!
