Arrival Story:
When we were driving home, we spotted what we thought was a baby squirrel running across the road. Turns out it was Nala, only a month old, chasing a butterfly across a busy street. We pulled over, grabbed her, and brought her home. She lived on a porch in a tower cage during the day, and a pet taxi in the garage at night. It took 3 baths to get rid of all the fleas. My brother thinks she is bipolar, since she's incredibly sweet half the time and a crazy evil monster the other half. She sure does love to sleep though. She is now living in my bathroom/the guest room (they're connected) and she's having a great time. We think that her mother and the rest of her litter was living in a drainage ditch and drowned due to the almost month of unstoppable rain we had, and she's all that's left. We've not seen any other feral kittens anywhere. It's also possible that the unneutered outdoor tomcat that lives in our neighborhood was her father, and her mom was the feral tortie that lives in the woods near our house.

Bio:
She's very beautiful. She's marbled. One side of her says "ITY", and she has a double stripe down her back, a diamond on her neck, and a third line that crosses the double perpendicularly. She has a very majestic looking face. She is named Nala in memory of Simba, who was hit by a car almost exactly a year before she was born. My mom visited a psychic on vacation for fun, and she said that Nala was a reincarnation of a cat we had, and we think it's him since he was also an orange tabby.
