My daughter and her friend happened to be at the pound when a woman came in with Ludicrous to surrender him. The counter person took him from the box and he had trouble standing and fell. He said that the cat was unadoptable because he was obviously disabled so he would be PTS immediately. My daughter and her friend asked the lady to give the cat to them instead.
Bio:
Ludicrous is neurologically damaged. He has no depth perception and walks in a weird gait, very similar to the way Nazi soldiers used to march--in a goose-step. He is a sweet and loving cat, very playful, but tends to get overly excited during play. He's come to adore my son and sleeps with him at night. The vet suspects that the neurological damage came from abuse. Additionally, someone had filed his teeth down. UPDATE: As time has gone by, Ludicrous has learned to take stairs two or threee at a time by making leaps at them. His head no longer shakes as much as when he was younger, and when he does fall, he just gets up and makes another leap.
