Arrival Story:
Jesebell was a real scardy cat! she was 5 years old when i adopted her. she was being given away by her owner who was moving. there was no NO KILL shelters where i lived so she would have probally been put to sleep. most people do not want a 5 year old cat who is afraid of everyone and does not want to even play. but, when i saw her, i fell in love with her! so, i took her, let her hide under the bed for a week, and gently coaxed her out and we fell in love! she was definetly a cat worth saving. she is so clam, very loving, and totally cool. people who tell me they HATE cats meet jese and fall in love!
Bio:
i do not want to erase jese's original bio...becasue we love her and she was a survivor...but today jese has left us and we are very sad...she was just suffering too much for us to keep her alive and we could not help her. we tried so hard, spent 1000s of dollars to keep her alive. we got about 3 more months and they were worth it. she lived for 14 wonderful years...we gave her a lot of love and received more than our fair share in return. she is gone now, but dearly missed....i will never forget my first kitty....
(February, 1993 - December 2007)
Jese is very old now...98 in people years, is what our vet told us. she has several illnesses including a heart murmer, hyperthyroid, and the beginnings of kidney failure....we are just trying to keep her as comfortable as possible before the inevitable happenes. after 11 years, i don't know how we will get along without her! we have been through a lot together...that is unconditonal love!

today we had to put our dear baby to sleep...she had a long life...15 years...she was very sick and has been doing poorly the last few months...we know we did everything to keep her alive..this is the hardest thing i have ever had to do...we miss you love! thank you to all our wonderful friends at catster who cheered her on in her old age!

this morning i was sleeping on the bed with my mommy! it was so comfortable and i was snoring as i always do! until my little crazy brother sami jumped up on the bed in my face, held on for dear life and tried to swat at me! i know he was only playing but i find that very annoying!!! why does he always have to do that????? what can't he just be normal? i am an old lady. doesn't he understand that? well, now we are not speaking. i refuse to even meow at him...but i will definetly eat his food!!! mmmmmm!
