snuggling with mom and siblings

i still don't like people too much, but i'm getting a little better everyday. And the two kitties upstairs scare me!

Favorite Toy:
shiny crinkle toys, people feet, my mom's tail

Favorite Nap Spot:
the big reindeer pillow, for now

Favorite Food:
i'm not picky, i'll eat pretty much anything

Arrival Story:
I was found under the shed in the backyard (of the nice lady's neighbor), along with my brother and sisters. My mom and us were brought inside the house, and promised that we'll never go hungry, or end up having babies of our own to fend for. She says she'll keep us safe until she can find us the perfect home (she seems REALLY pick about it, too), however long that takes!

I was the first one to be adopted (July, 8th)! A nice lady saw me on petfinder, and instantly fell in love with me. The next day, she came to the adoption event, and picked me up. it was love at first sight! Now i have a great forever home, and another kitty to play with!

So, you already know about the "start" of my life. Well, it's been about three weeks since we moved inside. It's pretty nice in here. We don't have to worry anymore, about if it's safe to go out and play, and we get all the food we can eat!

(Natrually) we had a little problem with worms, but we were also given medicine and that's all cleared up now. So we pretty much feel great! I've even started to put on a little much needed weight.

And the greatest news of all? The nice lady that took us in, says she found a group that will pay for all of us to get all our shots (we just did that yesterday, and it was not fun! but she says it's good for us), and for us to get spayed and neutered! The best part of all, we get to stay in her home (not a shelter) until we can find the perfect "forever home." All in all, I'd say we're all pretty lucky.

Also, today, Oliver, Xena, and I went to our first adoption event! We didn't find a home yet, but at least we got to get out and meet some new people! Solo, Soleil, and Mom had to stay home, because they're still too scared to be in a "temporary enclosure" for any amount of time.
