in case you all were wondering, yes, her name was really girl cat. she was rescued by a family member of ours, so she wasn't my cat, but i have a lot of fond memories of her. her dad wasn't much into naming animals, so she was a girl and a cat, so, therefore, her name became girl cat. she also had a brother cat named....you guessed it, boy cat.

well, girl cat was, how could we put it nicely, a little bit of a cranky cat. although she loved to be pet and she loved attention, she would be sure to let you know when she had had enough. her way of saying "alright, enough now," was by swatting you. she was quite a fat cat, which earned her the nick name girl fat. she lived for a great many years before she was called home to the bridge, where she has been reunited with luvcat, her best furriend on earth.
