Arrival Story: When Ed was 16 Gabby started hanging around outside his house. He couldn't convince his parents to bring her inside until it was discovered that she was pregnant. Gabby came in and has been part of the family since. When she was younger she was a very outdoor cat, running around the woods, only coming in when Ed was at home visiting from college, and then she wouldn't leave his room. So when we moved to a cat-friendly apartment in Columbus, she made the move from NC to OH and then to Chicago, and became an entirely indoor cat. She seems to have adjusted incredibly well not only to the large move, the additional cats, but also staying inside.
UPDATE: Gabby moved to California and then was diagnosed with a thyroid problem. A few months later, we had to say goodbye to Gabby.
She was an incredible, lovable, smart, and beautiful cat. She survived the streets, learned to trust, and then was able to travel the country by Ed's side.

We will miss you so much Gabby. You were one of a kind.

Bio: Gabby does have a pair of the most big beautiful green eyes you've ever seen. In fact, they take up a good portion of her face. Unfortunately, she doesn't like opening them for the camera.

Forums Motto: I'm Gabby, what more needs to be said?
