Ouch!

Last week my mom noticed that I was um...er...peeing blood. Yuck! I had a surgery last year to correct my urinary problems. I have to eat special food to keep crystals from coming back, but I had been sneaking and eating the other cats' food because it's more delicious! Everything is ok now, thank goodness. My mom just has to make sure I don't eat *anything* but my prescription food. Oh, and it helps if she pets me a lot and lets me lay on her pillow so we can nap together.

I charged the dog again today. Filthy mutt. It's like he wants to play with me or something. I DO NOT play with dogs! He is now sporting a scratch on his nose, next time it will be his eye! I warned him!

Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good Christmas & a happy New Year's Eve.

I am a very happy guy now. We have a little girl living with us, she's 6. She's moved in to the Oscararium, but I'm not upset one bit! I love her new bed, and her fluffy pillows. I sleep on all of them, making sure to get black fur on each and every item :) She loves me too. She's the one who named me the King of Hearts. We're very good pals!

I'll write more later, I need to go get more lovin' meow!

Wednesday, a day of bliss and a Thanksgiving Feast

Last Wednesday, my mom got the stomach flu and had to stay home from work. It also happened to be Beckham's 'doggie daycare' day! I couldn't believe my luck...Gus, Sparky, Luna & I were beside ourselves trying to take care of mom.

I was especially excited since I used to be her pillow kitty before Beckham came along, so I spent most of Wednesday laying on her pillow, purring and drooling, holding hands with her and escorting her to and from the bed.

On Thanksgiving, mom was too sick to make anything, but she did manage to open a can of Merrick Thanksgiving Day canned food. YUMMY!! Gus & I polished off the entire can ourselves before Sparky & Luna even noticed it was there :0)

Attack!

The dog breached the security system on the Oscararium when Gus & I were sleeping. He attempted to sniff us and lick us. The very nerve of him!

As I am swift and highly skilled in the use of my claws as WDDs(Weapons of Dog Destruction) he now sports a large scratch on his nose. Serves him right!

What does he think trying to befriend us...

A dog-free day

Last week on Wednesday, my mom took Beckham (my awful dog brother) to 'doggie daycare' all day. I'm not sure what that means, but I hope they tortured him there!

Gus, Luna, Sparky & I were VERY happy to be dog-free for 10 solid hours. Whoo hoo!!! There were WCW (Wild Cat Wrestling) matches between me, Gus & Luna for most of the day. Sparky doesn't do much wrestling (at least not that she'll admit to) so she refereed from her cat bed. I ended up with a big scab on my ear & some missing fur, but I don't mind - we had a lot of fun! We even got to eat our delicious organic turkey treats without Beckham's jealous woofing.

I can't wait until next Wednesday! I'll sleep on my parents bed, wrestle with Gus, snuggle with Sparky.....

My mom caved in and gave me a few treats today, she checked the labels and she thinks it's safe. She hasn't given me any since my FLUTS surgery in August. I missed them! I love treats, they are so much more tasty than boring old cat crunchies!

To thank my mom for the indulgence, I purred so much I drooled on her arm. I love my mom...she's the best :0)

Drool...

Today was a good day. I got to sit up in my sunny window downstairs almost all day. When my mom got home she turned on my sun lamp in the Oscararium (aka the den) and gave me lots of petting and attention. I was so happy that I drooled on my mom a little. Ok, it might have been a lot.

I have been sneaking downstairs with Gus to eat the yummy food the other cats get to eat (but don't tell my mom). I think she's starting to suspect something since I keep meowing loudly next to the food bowl in the morning when she comes downstairs.

I've been confined to the Oscararium (sometimes called the den) again so my mom can make sure I'm ok. I feel fine. I wish she'd stop worrying. I'm a tough guy.
