Pet-Peeves: Sam gets irritated when the younger cats get too frisky. He's too old for that kind of nonsense. Favorite Toy: Sam likes to play with balls. If you throw them he chases them and bats them around. He's slowing down now, but when he was younger he sometimes would even fetch them. Favorite Nap Spot: Sam likes to sleep curled up on the window ledge in the sunshine. Favorite Food: Sam loves stinky food- particularly fish. Sardines and tuna are his favorite foods. indoors Arrival Story: Sam was abandoned by his first owner who did not want to pay for his vet bills at the vet clinic where my mom was working. I was in third grade and desperately wanted a cat of my own. I was also having a very hard time passing my timed multiplication tables. My mom made me a deal. She said that if I passed my number 12 times table test that I could get a cat. I studied really, really hard and I passed. Sam came home and he's been here ever since. Bio: Sam is a very sweet cat. He loves attention and has the most beautiful blue eyes that I have ever seen. He is very special to me since he is my first cat. Sam is very affectionate and quite vocal. Sam passed away today, September 21, 2007, after a long struggle with kidney failure. I miss him very much.
