Arrival Story:
We loved the personality of our first Scottish Fold, Icky, so much that we decided to adopt another one. After months of combing the internet looking at breeders and available kittens, I saw some photos at the Kittyfield Cattery in Georgia that just melted my heart. I knew I had to have her. So we drove from Indianapolis, IN, to Atlanta, GA, and back all in one day - 20 hours round trip. At first we were worried because she got very stressed and got sick, but as it turned out, it was just the Georgia heat that had really made her feel ill. We stopped at a gas station and got some baby wipes to clean her up then got her back north where it was cooler. She relaxed quietly in her carrier the rest of the way home while she checked us out. I had never seen such a well-behaved kitten.

Bio:
Boo's a mumbler. I can't really say she's not verbal because she let's us know when she's displeased or wants food or whatever, but she's just very quiet about it. She murrs and grumps, but she hardly opens her mouth unless it's to eat - she just makes little peeping meows all the time. She's very trainable - when I first brought her home, I wouldn't give her a treat unless she sat in her bag - a dog carrying shoulder bag I'd picked up awhile back. Now, even though she overfills the bag, she still jumps in it whenever she wants a treat, which she eats right out of my hand. Boo loves our bathmats - she lays on them and rolls around; she even pushes them all over the room. She loves her buddies, Pudge and Zeezo, who she jumps on and bites and naps with.
