Arrival Story:
I adopted/rescued Lola from a person I used to work with. He had a bunch of feral kittens and didn't know what he was going to do with them all. He was going to take them to the pound unless he could find homes for them. When I saw Lola, I knew she had to be mine! She was a sweet little kitten who purred all the time and was playful. As she got older, her feral traits became more evident, but she and I were able to bond when she was a baby and still got along great when she became an adult!

Lola suffered a serious illness once. I almost lost her. I still don't know how she got so sick, but I was able to nurse her back to health with antibiotics, pedialyte, vitamins, and lots of love. I can't tell you how happy I was when the vet told me she was going to be fine! She was back to her old self pretty quickly and it was just such a relief!
