Arrival Story:
Leo the Lion Hearted was one of the five kittens I hand raised with Frankie. He was his brother. After he grew to be about six weeks old, I noticed he was very dim witted, bumped into things, struggling to deal with his surroundings and such. I took him to the vet, we discovered he was mentally retarded, blind and had many health problems that could not be fixed with surgery or medications. With a heavy heart I took him home to live as much as he could, until the day I would have no choice but to lay him to rest.
Bio:
Another six weeks went by, special memories of him, loved him all I could, then the awful day arrived. I held him in my arms, cried into his soft fur, told him I loved him and I was going to set him free out of his failing body. He died peacefully in my arms. He lived to be 12 weeks old.
