Red Tabby

Food. Love's OK and all, but food is better. Plus, I'm very chatty. I like to walk around the house commenting, sometimes yowling and complaining, but mostly just giving my opinion.

Not getting my food on time. I will seriously scream if you don't give it to me. And I really hate when my sister India kicks me out of my bowl, because that's what I used to do to everyone else before she became the Queen of the House.

Favorite Toy:
Any toy, but don't expect me to jump around for it. It's just too much work. In general, I prefer not to jump at all. I mostly lie on the floor in the middle of the room, since getting up on couches and counters and things takes a lot of effort.

Favorite Nap Spot:
I prefer sleeping in the middle of the living room, or of the man-cave where Daddy lives. Of course, if the dog isn't kennelled or contained on another floor, all bets are off. She completely hassles me and occasionally I'm up for it, but not often.

Favorite Food:
All food. Food is great. Go Food! I may or may not have an addiction to Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. After all, it's orange. Orange is, of course the premier color of choice. For everything.

I can eat really fast! I am always the first done with my food. Other than that, I may be the laziest cat on the planet. The only reason I'm not outrageously fat is because Mom feeds me half of what everyone else gets.

Arrival Story:
Auntie Heather's boss, the vet, found me on his property. He brought me to the vet and Auntie Heather told Mom and Dad that I would be a perfect pal for Mia! Of course, nobody asked me whether I wanted a sister. But it wasn't so bad. At first she didn't like me, but now we play around and scrap on the floor, and since she likes love and I like food, we don't get very jealous.

You know, I'm very talkative. I'm always talking. I tell Mom and Dad when to feed me, I have conversations with them back and forth, I talk about the weather, and complain, and say that I'm happy. I purr noisily and I prefer talking with you rather than sitting with you. I talk to my enemies, and I'm afraid I'm a terrible hunter, because I make a machine gun sound when I see birds. You see, that 's why I was rescued, because I was a terrible hunter. I'm more of a lazy, food-loving, conversational cat.

Lives Remaining:
8 of 9

Forums Motto:
Do I have to? Can't I just eat instead?

Okay. So I thought I liked windows before... but in the brand new house, there are windows with ledges EVERYWHERE! I just love it! I can see my Cat TV through the window every day, from every angle of the house, North, South, East and West! I can jump up there and relax, or jump down onto the floor and play-fight with my little sis, the dog. Even though Mom still doesn't let me eat everybody else's food, I'm still happy there! My favorite spot is by the window. I love watching outside, and I can even see the whole family when they're around the firepit! It's like I'm out there myself. And the white and black cat next door comes to visit me through the screen window. I don't know her name, but she might be a new friend soon!

I have a new best buddy! I don't really sit with her, I just play with her. It's Kisa! I've had a lot more fun and exercise since she started chasing me around. We even play tug of war with my toys! I'm not very pudgy anymore because Mom tries to get us to wear each other out. I don't mind, especially since she can't jump up high, so I can always get away and relax! She never wins at Hide and Seek. She is so cute! She is starting to try and make a mewing sound just like Mia and I do when it's time to eat or when we want to sit with Mom. She doesn't talk a lot like I do, but I'm OK with that!

Belly Scratching

Daddy was scratching my belly today! It felt OK, usually I don't like my belly touched, but he likes to scratch my pudge. After all, I'm still a pudge, even though the vet says it's OK. I got some more pictures with Dad last night, sitting on HIS pudge. That was great, just the two of us guys, hanging around. Momma was laughing!
