Quick Bio:

Birthday:
September 7th 2005

Coloration:
Ticked

Likes:
I like sitting. Generally, unless I'm sitting or laying on something or someone soft, I'm not happy. I like to stare down at people from near the ceiling, and it doesn't matter how I get there. Then, the dog can't harass me.

Pet-Peeves:
The Dog. Pretty much, that's the biggie. If I could send that dog on an extended vacation Outside when we were having one of those forty below zero spells, I totally would.

Favorite Toy:
Dad! No, seriously... he likes to roughhouse me. He kind of treats me like a puppy. He calls it "rumpling."

Favorite Nap Spot:
Momma's lap, when she's in my favorite chair. It doesn't happen often (the dog, of course, is wholly spoiled and receives nearly all of the attention because it's co-dependent) but when it does, it's lovely.

Favorite Food:
I'm not so much into food, but if you should happen to leave any butter on the counter, I will likely consume an entire stick in the time it takes you to feed the other animals.

Skills:
I'm very proficient in raking with my hind legs. In fact, the dog is so impressed, it now imitates me and I have become its mentor in stalking. I think it wants to be a cat. I'm sure if it fit, it would even potty in the litterbox.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
My parents found me through my auntie Heather, the vet tech. I don't like vets much, because of the travel, but she seems OK anyhow. I was the only one of my wild litter that didn't run away, but came to find my Grammy and Grampy because I was cold and hungry. I might have died over the winter, but Mom and Dad took me in! I was their very first pet, so I'm sure they love me best.

Safe at last...

We finally got moved into the new house. All I can say is, I was a little scared at first because I've been in the same home all my life until now, but once I got out, I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! You see, there are all these little ledges below the windows and across the walls that I can sit on and lay on, even in the sun, and THAT DOG CAN'T REACH ME!!! It's my new favorite place in the world. And it's set up great so that I can watch from ground level when Mom and Dad are outside! The place is huge to me and I can roam and enjoy myself. Mom and Dad got these huge LoveSacs that I love to sit on, and THAT DOG is too small to even jump on top of me! Of course, THAT DOG's new favorite thing to do is chase me up and down the stairs... but since, of course, I'm much more graceful and speedy than THAT DOG, I always prevail.

Humph...

Well, that DOG is still here. I can't see why they like it. Even Guinness has betrayed catdom and plays with her as much as she wants. They even greet that thing first and I run away, because I know they don't love me anymore. Well, it's always hardest to be the oldest! Does anyone think they still love me best?
It's true that Momma puts it in its cage so I can sit with her in the morning and that Daddy scratches my head at night. But still. How can they stand that smelly thing? I mean, it PEES in the HOUSE!!!

Ugh. At least it doesn't sleep on the bed (yet).

Four Days, Huh...

Only four days until the slobbery mutt comes for good. Like we need another sister. I can't believe Mom and Dad really want to do this.

Today I played with Mom and my string toys all morning! I made sure she didn't have time to watch TV or read her books, I took all the attention! After all, I'm going to have a future deficit... so I thought I'd better hog her while I can. After the mutt comes, I'm sure they'll just forget me...
