Black and White
Heating pads, catnip, laying on your belly, red poof balls
His sister Amber annoying him when he's sleeping. His sister Arwen in general.
Red poof ball
Favorite Nap Spot:
Either on the heating pad or the cat hammock
What doesn't he like? Absolute favorites (even if they are bad) Twinkies, Blueberry Muffins, Beef Stew juice, tuna, turkey and chicken! Oh and Brisket! Don't forget mashed potatoes! Did I mention cheese? How about cottage cheese?
Begging, making his sister Arwen angry just by breathing.
Zipper came from an abusive home. He was rescued and adopted by my little sister at age 3. He was living with her at my older sister's house. When my older sister decided that she was going to move across country, my little sister asked me if my hubby and I could take him. We have had him for over two years now and feel very blessed.
Zipper is an absolute love. He still has problems sometimes trusting. He spooks a little easily. But over the last two years he has become very trusting of us. And he loves his baby sister Amber. We call him Zipper Daddy because of how he treats her.

Well, Catster picked my diary as one of the "daily diaries", so I guess that means I should write something, doesn't it?
Mom and Dad did get a new place. I've not seen it yet, but they describe it as really big (nearly twice the size as where we currently live!), with four bedrooms...one for each of us kitties! Also, there are fewer choke points, so the evil Princess Arwen cannot keep me from my rightful domain! They do say that the floor in the kitchen, living room and hallway is stained concrete...not sure how I feel about that. I have the feeling that me and my sisters are going to do a lot of skidding around before we get used to that.
Now, however, they are talking about doing "packing", where they put everything into boxes to move it. Silly humans...don't they know that boxes are just for kitties to lay in? Sigh...I have to wonder about this "civilization" thing they keep talking about...doesn't seem to be all that it is cracked up to be. I mean, really...where would us kitties be if we could only sleep 8 hours and have to go to "work" instead of laying in sunbeams and waiting for our minions to bring us food and treats?

Mom and Dad told all of us kitties that we're going to be moving soon. None of the girls really understood what moving means. Well, Pixie remembers a little. She's not been with us for very long, so she has a few memories of her baby days and being moved from shelter to shelter. But since she was lucky enough to get adopted by Mom and Dad she's been forgetting those horrible days.
But when they told us that we were moving, I got really scared. I've been moved so many times before. First I was taken from the home where I was abused. I was placed in a foster home with lots of other kitties. It was ok there. The lady took good care of us and I was alpha cat there. Then my first new mom came and picked me out. I went to live with her at my aunt's house. I had two new cousins. I didn't get to be alpha anymore, because DC wouldn't let me. But Morris was really cool and we got along well. About 5 years later, my mom graduated from high school and moved out. Morris had moved with his mom to Texas and DC had run away. We saw him from time to time, but he had adopted a new family. I did ok there, but my uncle doesn't really like cats. He wasn't always really nice. And there were two little girls there who liked me, but they kind of annoyed me sometimes. My mom decided one day that she would ask her other sister if I could live with them in Texas. They said yes, so I flew on my first airplane trip to Texas. Eventually, my mom moved down to Texas too. But my aunt and uncle had already fallen in love with me and didn't want to give me away. She realized how happy I was with them and that she couldn't take me away from them. She also knew how much it had broken their hearts when Morris went to the Rainbow bridge. I'm pretty sure she knew that we needed each other. So she decided to step back and let mom and dad be my pawrents. She is now the mom of two furbabies of her own.
So when they told us we were moving, I was so scared. I wondered what I had done wrong. I didn't want to live with anyone but them! They are my mom and dad now! Mom and Dad reassured me and said that we were moving to a different place, but I would still be with them. I was so relieved! They told me that they're trying to find us a home with lots of nice windows that they can put my hammocks in! They're going to check out a house tonight. They have pretty high hopes for this one. It's pretty big and has a lot of features that they like. Maybe it has a catnip garden?
I'm a little nervous about all of this. I've never moved just to "move". We're going to be in a new place with all the same stuff? That's weird. I guess we'll see how it goes!

I've been tagged by Morgan the Pirate Gato!
The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog.
MY SEVEN FACTS:
1) I used to live in Connecticut. Now I live in Texas!
2) I LOVE chicken fingers. Mama can't bring them in the house without making sure there's an extra one for me! Then she has to cut all the bread off!
3) Mama's heating pad really belongs to me. Everytime she lays on it, I have to try and find a way to get on it and move her off!
4) If either of my pawrents are in the bathroom I meow really loud and scratch at the door until they let me in!
5) At 10 years old, I'm finally happy with my life. I understand that Mama and Daddy are going to keep me and always love me. I'll never be abused again.
6) I love to chase poof balls!
7) I love to sleep with Mama and Daddy at night.
OK! I tag the following 7 kitties:
4) Miss Mickey the Shmoo
Now, go out there and tag someone else and make sure that you write your blog in your diary and then send the kitties you tag an email like this!
